Aloha!
This afternoon I’ve decided to make me a very simple chop salad with imitation crab meat. I’m not a fan of fake seafood but today that will have to do. I love seafoods but I don’t like the price so the next best thing is to fake it once in a while. Yes, it’s colored noodles...that’s fine with me.
Of course, dear friends, you don’t have to put anything you don’t like into your dishes. Please practice freewill. And without further due, here are the ingredients I picked for this afternoon chop salad...
Imitation crab meat
Arugula
Orange
Avocado
Tomato
Parmesan cheese
Seasame seed dressing
Parsley: to garnish. Not in photo
Peel and chop orange, avocado and tomato into bite size...
Mix all ingredients into a bowl. Add dressing. Tossed a couple of times then place on a plate. Garnish with Parmesan cheese and parsley.
And VOILA!!! Here is that delicious salad with a robust flavor of creamy, slightly bitter combined with sweet and sour! I think we got us an Umame twist of the tongue salad.
Well, friends, I hope you’ve enjoyed this simple chop salad with imitation crab recipe and maybe you’ll give it a try one day. I’d love to hear your thoughts on this salad and any suggestions you have to make it even more delicious!
And as always, until we meet again, have a wonderful day.
Aloha!
