Delicioso cruzado de res y gallina [ESP/ENG]
Hola amigos lectores de esta gran comunidad de 
Hoy se me hizo un poco tarde para ir almorzar en casa, ya que tenia varios pendientes por resolver, por lo que fue necesario ir almorzar a un famoso restaurante que esta ubicado en la carrera 25 con calle 10 de la ciudad de Barquisimeto, Estado Lara llamado doña pica tierra . Es un restaurante que dista desde hace muchos años, muy famoso, a qui siempre han preparado una sopa super rica, de chuparse los dedos; es una sopa como decimos en mi querido pais Venezuela, levanta muertos.
En este restaurante venden diferentes tipos de sopas, en mi caso ordene un cruzado de carne de res (costilla) con gallina, realmente estaba muy deliciosa, cero grasa, el maíz dulce y tierno como me encanta a mi, además la sopa venia con limón por si queríamos colocarle algunas gotas y con una tierna arepa de harina pan, esta arepita estaba rica se la migue la sopa, su textura super suave, venia cargado de costilla de res y una presa grande de gallina, así que valió la pena ir a probar esta sopa que tenia mas de diez años que no los visitaba.
El local es muy criollo, sus sillas y mesas son de madera, es un local criollo, la música es criolla, como es un local super grande se veía un poco vacío, pero si había bastante gente, me di cuenta que habían personas comiendo parrilla y otros platos que también se veían que estaban ricos, lo que quiere decir que han incluidos otros platos aparte de la sopa, que es el fuerte de la casa. Para refrescar el día ordene una limonada que también estaba delicioso y granizado super bueno.

Delicious Beef and Chicken Stew

Today I was running a little late to have lunch at home, since I had several things to take care of, so I had to go to a famous restaurant located at Carrera 25 and Calle 10 in the city of Barquisimeto, Lara State, called Doña Pica Tierra. It’s a restaurant that’s been around for many years and is very famous; they’ve always served an incredibly delicious soup there—the kind that’s finger-licking good. As we say in my beloved country, Venezuela, it’s the kind of soup that could “raise the dead.”
This restaurant serves different kinds of soups. I ordered the beef (rib) and chicken soup—it was truly delicious, with no fat at all, and the sweet, tender corn was just the way I like it. The soup also came with a lemon in case we wanted to squeeze a few drops into it, along with a soft arepa made from pan flour. This little arepa was delicious—I crumbled it into the soup. The soup had a super smooth texture and was packed with beef ribs and a large piece of chicken, so it was definitely worth going to try this soup—it had been over ten years since I’d last visited.
The place has a very traditional vibe—the chairs and tables are made of wood, and the music is traditional. Since it’s such a huge place, it looked a little empty, but there were actually quite a few people there. I noticed some folks were eating grilled meats and other dishes that looked delicious too, which means they’ve added other options besides the soup, which is the restaurant’s specialty. To cool off, I ordered a lemonade, which was also delicious, and a really good slushie.
