Hi bloggers and community members. Have a wonderful day. How is everyone doing? I hope everything is going well. Today I’m going to share a new spot I’ve visited recently, a friend recommended it to me for a change of pace because it’s quite unique. It’s called Table Top Board Game Cafe. This cafe has a wide variety of games you can play.

My main reason for going there was to have lunch and catch up with some of my old college friends. We hadn’t seen each other in a long time, and since our schedules didn’t align, we decided to meet for lunch here. When I first walked in, I was quite impressed by the board game table in the middle of the room. There were several game boxes there, and that’s where the game hosts were stationed. From what I observed, each game host patiently and thoroughly explains the rules and how to play the game you’ve chosen. On either side, there are many types of games to choose from. On weekdays, you can play games at no extra charge as long as you order food and drinks here, but on weekends, there’s an additional fee for the games. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to play any board games while I was there because we had an important matter to discuss; maybe next time I’ll try a few games here.

To order from the menu, each table has a menu barcode, and you can order directly using QRIS payment or go to the cashier to place your order. We ordered sambal matah rice, steak sauce rice, and a chicken sandwich. For drinks, I ordered strawberry soda and my friend ordered a vanilla latte.

This sambal matah rice dish is what I ordered, rice with breaded fried chicken served with spicy and aromatic sambal matah made from chopped lemongrass and scrambled eggs. The sambal is quite spicy and tastes great; besides chicken, you have other options to choose from, such as fish, squid, or shrimp.

The chicken sandwich was also delicious. It was filled with katsu chicken, egg, lettuce, and tomato, with a side of mayo for dipping. I liked the chicken sandwich, but I felt the mayo wasn’t the best pairing. Overall, the food was delicious, and the place was pretty lively since so many people come here to enjoy the games. Okay, that’s all for today, thank you 😊
