Like any capital city, Caracas is a tremendously hectic city, very convulsive and full of dynamism, where cultural exchange, architectural contrasts and nature form an urban ensemble that is truly unique in the world. The Caracas that we usually see in tourist reports is a city full of squares and iconic spaces, where the boulevards are full of people and the streets show a great flow of traffic in all directions, but the truth is that at certain times and in very specific areas we can also find a capital where tranquillity, peace and an atmosphere of joy and serenity reign.

Un Paseo en Blanco y Negro
Como toda capital, Caracas es una ciudad tremendamente agitada, muy convulsa y llena de un gran dinamismo, en donde el intercambio cultural, los contrastes arquitectónicos y la naturaleza forman un conjunto urbano verdaderamente único en todo el mundo. La Caracas que solemos ver en los reportajes turísticos es una ciudad llena de plazas y espacios icónicos, en donde los bulevares están repletos de personas y las calles muestran un gran flujo vehicular en todas direcciones, pero la verdad es que en determinados momentos y en zonas muy específicas también Nos podremos encontrar con una capital en donde reina la tranquilidad, la paz y un ambiente impregnado de alegría y serenidad.

The east of the city is that area of changing spirit, where during the whole week people live in the midst of a chaotic and stressful world, but when Sunday arrives everyone seems to take a well-deserved break for rest and as a result we will find empty streets, desolate pavements and a bright sun that bathes the whole environment, always accompanied by a subtle breeze that caresses our cheek and drives our steps so that we keep moving in the direction of the unknown, having as our only goal to discover those corners of the city that do not appear in the tourist portals of the world, but that in reality are only ideal scenarios to capture diverse images that in the future will become the best postcards of a city that is constantly changing.
El este de la ciudad es esa área de espíritu cambiante, en donde durante toda la semana se vive en medio de un mundo caótico y lleno de estrés, pero cuando llega el domingo todos parecieran hacer una merecida pausa para el descanso y como resultado nos encontraremos con calles vacías, aceras desoladas y un sol brillante que baña todo el entorno, siempre acompañado de una sutil brisa que acaricia nuestra mejilla e impulsa nuestros pasos para que sigamos avanzando en dirección hacia lo desconocido, teniendo como única meta descubrir esos rincones de la ciudad que no aparecen en los portales turísticos del mundo, pero que en realidad solo escenarios ideales para capturar diversas imágenes que a futuro se conviertan en las mejores postales de una ciudad que atraviesan constante cambio.
Eastern Caracas is modern, full of large financial and commercial towers, where you can enjoy wide pavements, beautiful trees and when nature does not allow it, a completely clear sky, ready to provide the best background, with which I can perfectly frame those urban and structural photographs that I like so much.
La Caracas del este es moderna, repleta de grandes torres financieras y comerciales, en donde se puede disfrutar de amplias aceras, lindos árboles y cuando la naturaleza no los permite de un cielo totalmente despejado, listo para brindarnos el mejor fondo, con el cual puedo encuadrar a la perfección esas fotografías urbanas y estructurales que tanto me gustan.
Here the contrast between nature and the city is always present, but we must also add that it is an area that stands out for having large and luxurious houses, which have managed to maintain over time and have not succumbed to the passage of large construction companies that are always in search of the flattest places in order to raise the most incredible and amazing buildings. Sundays are the best days to go out and enjoy this city in the fullness of its grandeur, since we can stop wherever we want, take as long as we need to generate a photo and at the same time enjoy the tranquillity of a walk that will allow us to relax and enjoy the simplicity of life.
Aquí el contraste entre la naturaleza y la ciudad siempre está presente, pero también debemos agregar que es una zona que se destaca por contar con grandes y lujosas casas, las cuales han sabido mantenerse a través del tiempo y no han sucumbido ante el paso de las grandes constructoras que siempre están en la búsqueda de los lugares más planos para así poder elevar los edificios más increíbles y asombrosos. Los domingos son los mejores días para salir y disfrutar de esta ciudad en la plenitud de su grandeza, puesto que podremos detenernos en donde queramos, tardar lo que necesitemos para generar una foto y al mismo tiempo disfrutar de la tranquilidad de una caminata que nos permitirá relajarnos y disfrutar de la sencillez de la vida.
Sometimes I like to go for a walk without a definite direction, with the simple aim of admiring the grandeur of the mountains, the immensity of the sky, the perfection of the trees, the extraction of the wind and the audacity of human creativity, generating through my steps a series of thoughts and memories that intertwine to form those ideas and dreams that are then captured in photographs, Walking for me is an exercise of catharsis, reflection and some work, where I am doing what I like the most and where I can enjoy a moment for myself, where there is no rush, no problems and no stress.
A veces me gusta salir a caminar sin un rumbo definido, con el simple objetivo de admirar la grandeza de las montañas, la Inmensidad del cielo, la perfección de los árboles, la extracción del viento y la audacia de la creatividad humana, generando a través de mis pasos una serie de pensamientos y recuerdos que se entrelazan formando esas ideas y sueños que luego se plasman en fotografías, escritos y publicaciones, es decir caminar para mí es un ejercicio de catarsis, reflexión y algo de trabajo, en donde estoy haciendo lo que más me gusta y en dónde puedo disfrutar de un momento para mí mismo, en donde no existe el apuro, los problemas ni el estrés.
