Hay ciudades que cuentan su historia a través de los colores, y otras que parecen haber nacido para ser fotografiadas en blanco y negro. Bayamo es una de ellas. Al eliminar el color, la atención se centra en las formas, las texturas y el carácter de una ciudad que conserva gran parte de su esencia colonial.
Some cities tell their story through color, while others seem destined to be photographed in black and white. Bayamo is one of them. Without color, the focus shifts to shapes, textures, and the timeless character of a city that still preserves much of its colonial heritage.
La primera fotografía muestra una de las iglesias más representativas de la ciudad, donde las líneas limpias de su arquitectura resaltan con fuerza bajo la intensa luz del sol. La segunda imagen dirige la mirada hacia una estructura curva que rompe con la geometría de la calle y crea un interesante juego de luces y sombras, aportando dinamismo a la escena urbana.

Black-and-white photography has a unique ability to simplify a scene while making its essence even more powerful. Through this small collection, I wanted to highlight the history, architecture, and atmosphere that make Bayamo such a remarkable place.
