Happy and blessed start to the week! It’s a pleasure to share with you once again. Today I’d like to share a recipe for grilled steak with caramelized onions—perfect to serve with your favorite side dish and enjoy for lunch. This meat is delicious, and it’s very easy and quick to prepare. Here’s a step-by-step guide to this simple recipe.
- 500 grams of meat
- 2 onions
- 1/2 tablespoon of vinegar
- 2 tablespoons of sugar
- Olive oil
- 4 cloves of garlic
- Oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
Lo primero que haremos es aderezar la carne con sal, pimienta, ajo y orégano mezclamos y dejamos reposar y en una plancha ligeramente engrasada y caliente ponemos la carne a cocinar por ambos lados a su gusto.
First, season the meat with salt, pepper, garlic, and oregano; mix well and let it sit. Then, place the meat on a lightly oiled, hot griddle and cook it on both sides to your liking.
While the meat is cooking, wash the onion and slice it into rings. Heat a splash of olive oil in a skillet, add the onion, and cook until it softens. Then add salt, sugar, and vinegar, and continue cooking until it turns a golden brown.
Once the meat is ready, place the onions on top and serve it hot with your choice of side dish. I paired it with rice and carrots and potato wedges to enjoy a balanced meal.
I hope you enjoy this simple recipe I’m sharing with you today. Until next time, and many blessings.
