Hello dear coffee-loving community, there is one specific sweet that I have always wanted to taste, and I had not had the opportunity, the tres leches cake. I already knew that it was a sweet that carries three types of milk, evaporated, condensed milk and cream, and it is not the typical dry cake, but it is soaked in milk, and I love that.
Last week I was at work and I didn't feel like eating normal food, I was craving coffee and a sweet, three milks, and I just had to cross the street to achieve my desired goal. So I went to the Regente cafeteria, which has become a special place for me, since we did not have a cafeteria near my work, although it is also a very big temptation for my pockets.
I ordered an espresso with its corresponding cookie, it was really very delicious and strong, with excellent quality. Then as it could not be missing I ordered a frappuccino and I was very surprised by the change in its presentation, both in the glass, which is now larger, as in the quality and the accompaniment of chopped cookies on top, it was very rich although I missed the presentation of always, and to accompany with much enthusiasm I asked for a tres leches cake, it was my first time, and from the first bite I felt the delicacy of the wet dough, with the perfect white meringue, soft, the truth is that I did not want it to end, each small spoonful I tasted it slowly, and from that moment I knew that I would become addicted to it.
