Spinachs are a leaf vegetable rich in vitamins and minerals. They contain vitamin K which is very good to stop bleedings. They are very good for health, but they have to be eaten with moderation because they contain oxalic acid, and they are not favorable for people who suffer of lithiasis or arthritis.
I am going to combine meat for burges with spinachs, this results in a delicious dish. The spinachs will gives the meat a very smooth flavour, but they have to be finely cut so that they mix well. I don't want to add bread and eggs to the meat. They will compact with the parmesan cheese, which make the burges tender.
You can make hamburguess with them or simply eat them as part of a meal with vegetables or salad. I use olive oil to cook them because it gives them a distinct flavour and smell, but use just a little. To make these hamburguess you must choose a very quality and fresh meat.
To prepare these hamburges you need:
- 600 grams of beef
- 2 cups of spinach finely cut
- 1 cup of parmesan cheese
- 1 onion grated
-- 1 tablespoon of garlic - 1 tablespoon of oregano
- 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce if you have it
- salt at taste
- olive oil
Preparation:
- finely cut the spinachs leaves
- grate the onion
- place the minced beef in a bowl
- add the grated onion to the beef
- add the garlic, salt and oregano
- add the cup of parmesan cheese
- add the oyster sauce
- add the spinachs
- mix well
- make the burges with a hamburguer maker
- fry them in the olive oil turning them every 2 minutes so that they don't burn
If you follow the steps to make these hamburgers you will end with a delicious dish, very easy and economical, and though it contains spinach children will love it. I ate them with potatoes puree and beets salad.
