Exploring Tokyo at night, I picked off Students of Misery using arrows while hiding on street lamps. After running out of arrows while targeting nearby Students of Pain and additional enemies, I resorted to stealth.
I snuck up on a spirit and destroyed the final resting target with a fireball and core grab.
While exploring the haunted streets of Tokyo at night, I spotted several Students of Misery roaming the pavement below. Choosing to avoid a direct confrontation, I drew my bow and began picking them off from a distance, dropping the first target cleanly.
The second Student of Misery ran to the far side of the street searching for the attacker, but I lined up another arrow and took her down before she could pinpoint my position.
Interestingly, a group of Students of Pain standing nearby remained completely oblivious as their counterparts were eliminated. Wanting to maintain the element of surprise, I adjusted my vantage point, gliding across the gap to perch atop a street lamp.
From this high post, I fired a fresh barrage of arrows. They finally spotted me and tried to return fire, but I shot them down before they could land a hit.
Looking across the street, I noticed two more Students of Misery, one pacing back and forth along the asphalt while the other rested atop a nearby street light. Realizing my quiver was completely empty, I couldn't rely on long-range archery anymore.
I dropped down to street level, crouched low, and quietly crept toward them.
I closed in on the wandering Student of Misery and eliminated her with a swift stealth takedown.
The remaining enemy resting on the street light still had no idea I was there or that her companion had been banished. As she descended to the ground, I readied a powerful fireball, blasted her point-blank, and ripped out her core to finish the encounter.
We'll continue in another post.
