I was warned that entering Tokyo Tower meant no turning back. Short on elemental weaves, I searched for resources before returning to a shop, finding nothing. Continuing ahead, we entered the tower. Eerie spectral voices of Mari taunted Akito, testing his resolve before I called the elevator to the main deck.
KK mentioned that once we went inside, there would be no turning back until we took the intruder down. Hearing that made me realize I needed to be fully prepared, though I was not entirely sure how to get everything I wanted.
Looking at my inventory, I noticed I did not even have enough elemental weaves left. I decided to search around the immediate area for some extra supplies. My hope was to stock up before taking another step forward into the dangerous zone.
Without much options, I accepted that I just had to continue my journey without being at full power. I stepped back out into the open, determined to push forward anyway despite lacking a full stash of elemental weaves.
I headed further up the road to see if I could scavenge any resources from the surrounding area. Sure enough, I managed to spot a few scattered sources along the path.
They helped a little, but I still needed more to feel completely safe. I kept looking around as I walked, eventually finding a few additional resources tucked away in the shadows.
After picking up everything I could find, I finally arrived at the base of Tokyo Tower.
I scanned the immediate area for any immediate threats, but I did not see any enemies lurking around the entrance. The silence almost felt unnatural given where we were.
I walked toward the main entrance of Tokyo Tower to see what was waiting for us inside. Right as I stepped up, a system warning popped on screen, reminding me that entering meant there was no turning back. I felt ready, so I chose to proceed.
Once I stepped inside the building, the entrance sealed, proving there really was no way out. I looked around the lobby and tried the main exit doors, but none of them would open anymore.
The interior looked like everyone had suddenly vanished in a rush. KK suggested that our target had to be lurking somewhere higher up, so he urged me to start heading upstairs.
As we moved through the lower levels, the main villain, Hannya, seemed ready for our arrival. Strange spectral illusions began to fill the quiet halls around us.
I began to hear the voice of Akito's sister, Mari, calling out for help. Her voice echoed through the corridors, pleading with Akito and asking if he ever truly cared about her.
The haunting voice claimed that she was going to die because of him, trying to break his spirit. However, it quickly became obvious that it was not actually Mari speaking. The hostile spirits were simply using her voice to mess with Akito's head.
Akito stopped in his tracks, clearly struggling as he tried to process the painful words. KK stepped in, pulling Akito forward and telling him not to listen to the tricks.
Akito sounded like his head was getting messed up pretty badly as he tried to cry out over Mari's voice, wondering if she was really in that much pain.
I kept moving through the halls until I found the elevator area. I tried to walk right in, but the doors would not open, and I could not take the nearby stairs either.
Spectral vision showed the path leading straight into the elevator, so I searched for a way to activate it.
After wandering around for sometime, I realized I had to press the call button first, which brought the elevator down, revealing the phantom traces of people who vanished inside it. With the path clear, we boarded the lift to head to the main deck.
We'll continue in another post.
