After taking out the commander, I slipped past a security camera and deactivated the alarm system. I then snuck up to the tower to eliminate the sniper. Despite successfully taking down the gate guards, my attempt to blast the vanguard with gasoline that drew reinforcements, which ultimately lead to my defeat.
After successfully dealing with the commander, my immediate priority was to find a safe way out of the combat zone and escape the restricted area. I could safely escape the perimeter but I decided to take down the remaining soldiers first.
As I navigated the pathways, I encountered a security camera monitoring the path. I acted quickly, destroyed the camera to avoid detection.
Shortly after, I noticed the vanguard heading back toward my position. To keep myself safe, I retreated into the shadows and waited patiently for him to return to his usual patrol route.
Once he moved away, I seized the opportunity to approach the alarm system and deactivated it, ensuring that there won't be any reinforcements.
With the alarm offline, I focused on my next target: the sniper stationed in the high tower. I considered trying to land a clean headshot from a distance, but I was worried that a single bullet might not be enough to take her down silently.
Instead of risking a missed shot, I waited for the vanguard to leave the immediate area and it looked like the vanguard was tired after patrolling the area for the whole day, as he was stretching his back.
Once the coast was clear, I climbed up the tower, crept up behind the sniper, and executed a quiet melee kill.
I forgot to mention but you can see in the gameplay and in the photos, that the daylight had completely faded into nighttime, which gave me an advantage as I crept back down to search for an exit.
I waited on the tower to take my shots on the guards at the entrance but the vanguard was nearby so I was waiting for him to move to another side first.
Suddenly I noticed some soldiers left the entrance driving vehicles, which made it easier for me to try my next approach.
Knowing I had to act fast, I aimed my silenced gun at the two guards stationed at the gate. I fired rapidly and managed to take both of them down without letting them raise any noise.
With the gate guards out of the picture, I looked for a way to deal with the approaching vanguard. I noticed an explosive gasoline barrel sitting right next to his patrol path. I aimed and blasted the barrel, creating a massive explosion that engulfed him in flames.
Unfortunately, the blast drew heavily armed reinforcements to the scene. Surrounded and under heavy fire from multiple directions, I tried to flee the area, but the incoming onslaught was too overwhelming, and I was defeated once again.
How about we continue in another post?
