I returned to the enemy camp to complete my main objectives after failing previously. I prioritized taking down the commander while avoiding unnecessary side fights. I successfully trapped a signal brazier, killed an enemy trying to raise the alarm, and finished off the commander with a leap attack from above.
I made my way back to the garrison camp after my previous attempt ended in failure. The area had reset, meaning all the guards were back at their positions. However, it was a relief to see that the main captains I had previously killed stayed dead.
That meant my workload was significantly reduced, and I only needed to focus on two remaining objectives: eliminating the commander and looting the primary treasure chests scattered around the area.
My main target was the commander, so I resolved to stick to stealth, avoid unnecessary battles, and head straight for my primary goal. That did not mean I was going to let every guard walk away completely untouched.
When a lone soldier seen peeing, I took the chance to perform a quick air assassination, taking him out before he could alert anyone. I didn't even let him finish the job, lol.
I noticed another guard on my way who was relaxing beside a haystack. I took a leap of faith and landed on the same haystack from where I assassinated him and hid the body.
With that distraction out of the way, I began tracking the commander. I spotted him checking on some paper scrolls inside a building. I moved closer and managed to land a solid strike on him, dealing significant initial damage.
Knowing how dangerous he was in direct hand-to-hand combat, I did not stay to fight him head-on. I quickly backed off and broke line of sight to reset my position.
As I shifted through the camp, I noticed another soldier rushing directly toward the nearby brazier. Since I had not set a trap on it yet, I sprinted forward and took him down before he could light the fire.
Realizing how close I came to facing a wave of enemy reinforcements, I immediately set to work on the brazier itself. I rigged the signal fire with a trap so that any guard attempting to light it would trigger a deadly blast instead.
Shortly after I finished setting the trap, the guards in the camp went on high alert. They realized an intruder was present and began actively searching the area. I took down one of them in the meantime with a leap attack.
One of the guards tried to lit the brazier it to call for back-up. The trap triggered instantly, causing the brazier to blow up and killing the guard on the spot.
While the guards were distracted by the explosion, the commander moved into the open area below me. Positioned on a high wooden beam right above him, I waited for the ideal moment.
As soon as he walked directly beneath my spot, I leaped down and executed a powerful leap attack, taking him out instantly. With the commander dead and the main threats in the camp cleared, I was finally free to loot the remaining treasure chests at my own pace.
I'll show more of my photographic journey of the games soon, so stay tuned to my blog if you liked them.
