To keep up with my wife's social needs, of which hers are thankfully quite simple, we visited the Taiwanfest in downtown Vancouver today. It was hot out, so we just took in a couple of activities, and

My wife, bless her, loves art. And tends to drag me to the art gallery once in a while to see certain exhibits. And this was no exception. Usually, I trudge along reluctantly to look at "some boring

Three weeks ago, I wrote a post about "Going to My Callback". I found out last Friday Aug 25 that I booked the job. I auditioned for this project currently named "Eggplant Emoji". And

I'm still new to this game, even though I've been on for about two months. I've learned a lot about crypto finance this past while being on here. I bought 2.2483 Bitcoins back in April 2013, and pretty

We live near the PNE fairgrounds in Vancouver BC, and as a benefit of that we are gifted four entry passes per year. Last night we used two of them, mostly to see a band from the late 70s early 80s, the

I just noticed I have not posted anything for 3 days, so I'm going to remedy that by putting something up now. Here in Vancouver, it's PNE (Pacific National Exhibition) time, and last weekend my wife and

I say this mostly because I'm married to an incredible woman, and we love each other. I also say this because even though I have some pangs of regret for not having taken action (or more action) on certain

My wife and I participated last night in this epic theatre experience called "A Game of You." As an actor, and one that is familiar with the constructs of the theatre experience, this was very

I had a good class tonight. It went very smoothly, though a bit long for my wife, who was prowling the library until about 10 pm. Unfortunately for her, the class didn't end until 11:30 pm. What made it

I love humanity. I think I always have. And I have discovered that teaching acting is a way of teaching people to be more conscious about how they behave in their lives. I'm pretty lucky, in that I generally

I live in Vancouver BC Canada and I'm part of the film industry here. It is a sad day for our community when one of our own loses their life. RIP to this stunt performer. The work they do and the sacrifices

Because of what was happening in Charlottesville VA in the U.S. and the hate-fueled violence that occurred. A woman died and many were injured in the voicing of their beliefs and values. As a person of

I was having lunch with a past acting student/friend who brought her family out from Halifax to visit Vancouver. That's Bonnie and me on the right, on the left are Amy and Tim Murphy, in Amy's lap is little

In the business of acting, there is this thing called the "call back". It is a term for when I go to an audition, and the people making the casting decision wish to see me again in person. It

I've had three auditions in the past three days, and as an actor of Asian descent, this is a good thing. Being in the Vancouver BC film industry, one might be inclined to think that there would be a plethora
