What is your comfort food?
It is Sunday. Sunday is usually my most tiring day because of more people I meet and emotional investment in children. It is also the day we attend church. All of us in the family whether old or as young as my youngest son at 2 years old, love to attend church to worship and to be with like-minded people and friends.
However it is something I cannot deny that it is tiring though fulfilling and worth it. So usually after coming home at 3 something 4 o'clock in the evening, we are mentally and physically tired. My firstborn and I usually will not nap and we want to sleep early at night since there is school the next day. So we have to think of how to settle dinner. I cooked celery and carrot with minced meat in a soup for the boys but I seriously was thinking to just eat something my sister-in-law gave me today....
Kimchi Ramen Instant Noodles!
This is a brand I have yet to try but @iamjadeline thinks it is nice and she kindly gifted one to each of us today. I almost cooked it and eat it in church today once I got it. Hahahah.
Anyway I waited. Waited and waited. Till dinner time.
Yes! Time to cook it!
It came with a disposable fork, powder seasoning and a pack of kimchi.
I find this pack of real kimchi the star ingredient to this instant noodle. I was afraid there was no real kimchi so I took out my stash from the fridge too.
Opening up the seasoning packet and poured the powder on the dried noodle.
Add hot boiling water to the indicator line on the side of the bowl.
Soak for 3 minutes and VOILA!!
I was slurping this away as I video called my parents. They also got attracted to see what I was eating so deliciously hahha. Finished almost all of the soup.
