The hot dog days of Summer have arrived to my little corner in North Carolina. With Sun fading into the western sky it is time to enjoy a nice cold brew.
This Ruby Lager is brewed by the Olde Hickory Brewery in (can you guess) . . . . HICKORY NORTH CAROLINA!
The Olde Hickory Brewery started brewing with a seven tank converted dairy. What? Exchanging milk for beer?
My kinda folks!
Pours with a nice head. This brew is smooth and clean like the mountain water used to make it. In fact, it is North Carolina's water that makes a brewer's job easy.
Light drinking and with 4% ABV not a huge kick so you can enjoy a couple or four.
One of the other cool features, and this is just a design of the bottle thing. The cap has a printing of a "tree trunk", as in a Hickory tree.
Well that is all folks and I shall see you next week, God willing and the creek don't rise, for #beersaturday.
