It’s sunny and very hot here. The heat just won’t let up—they’re even reporting record-low river levels. I’m sticking to the shade and cold drinks. Doctors recommend water. Sure, there’s water on the table in the morning, but in the evening, after some activity (we go to check the field in late afternoon), it’s definitely beer for me :)
Just right for today’s #beersaturday.
And I have two cold cans for this hot, humid, and thirst-inducing evening, one French and one German!
I’m ready to empty them and share the experience with you.

A uniquely light, low-original-gravity beer perfect for quenching your thirst every day.
Hmm... I don't think they really care what happens to this beer once they sell it...
The beer is orange; the head is average and fades quickly. It has no aroma. It goes down smoothly; in my mouth, I detect a slight sweetness from the malt, hints of bitterness, perhaps a touch of caramel, and that’s it.
The aftertaste fades quickly.
The beer is drinkable, slightly sweet, slightly bitter—nothing spectacular. Given the low ABV, I expected something a bit more watery, but it’s not a disaster. It’s quite drinkable when well-chilled.
That said, it’s currently the cheapest lager in local stores. I picked it up at my local EuroSpin—I couldn’t believe it was only €0.60.

A refreshing, light lager made from barley malt, with mild bitterness, brewed according to a traditional recipe from 1879.

The beer is a clear yellow color; it has a lot of foam, but it subsides quickly. It has no aroma. It goes down smoothly; in my mouth, I first taste the sweetness of the malt, followed by the mild bitterness of the hops.
The hop bitterness lingers in the aftertaste for a while.
A drinkable and refreshing beer!
Nothing particularly distinctive or complex, but a solid, standard German lager with a good balance between malt and hops. I bought it at a Konzum store in Croatia for €1.25.
