Perhaps this is a little out of Season, seeing that Spring has arrived in the Carolinas. However, the call of a fully bodied brew is irresistible, if only to wish the Winter Cold a final farewell.

Black Oak Bavarian Doppelbock is a seasonal beer brewed by the Red Oak Brewery in Whitsett, NORTH CAROLINA.

I am a big fan of all the beers brewed by Red Oak Brewery. In fact, I consider Red Oak Brewery as the standard for great brewing in North Carolina, and I compare all other brewers and beers by this standard.
