It's a beautiful Sunday, and I welcome you all to my blog. As usual, I will be sharing a delicious and healthy drink recipe with you, so enjoy reading this post to the end- don't miss any detail.

This drink is known as a papaya smoothie, and it's one of the best smoothies you can ever have. I am sure pawpaw is not a strange fruit to us, and a lot of people love it because of its sweetness. The benefits of pawpaw can't be quantified as well, which makes it one of my favorite fruits. According to nutritionists, pawpaw is good for the eyes and heart and even aids in digestion, which I can testify to very well. It contains minerals and vitamins that are very essential to our body systems as well.

Growing up, I had so much access to pawpaw because the trees are everywhere, unlike now, and there are no restrictions to it. We pluck it after playing football and enjoy ourselves, so I have a long history with the fruit. As I grew older, I developed an interest in consuming my papaw as fluid, and that started my obsession with papaya smoothies.

Making this smoothie is quite easy, and I always use three ingredients to create this magic.

Ingredients.

  • 700g of ripe pawpaw

  • 500ml of yogurt

  • 1 piece of ginger.

These are the three ingredients needed to make a papaya smoothie. A few people once asked why banana isn't among the recipes since it's always in most smoothies.

Pawpaw is actually a fruit that thickens itself, so there is no need for a banana for this recipe.

Procedure.

  • I started by cutting off the head of the papaya and moved on to opening the fruit vertically.
  • I got rid of the pawpaw seeds and as well peeled the back of the pawpaw.

  • I cut the fruit into small sizes after peeling the back.
  • I rinsed them in clean water and set them aside.

  • I peeled my ginger back, cut it into smaller sizes, and rinsed them in clean water as well.

  • I got 40 ml of ice block, broke it into pieces, and turned it into my blender.

  • I added the pawpaw and ginger as well into the blender.
  • Finally, the yogurt joined the party, and it was time to blend.
  • I blended the combination for 3 minutes because I wanted the smoothie to be as smooth as possible.
  • I know the pawpaw would blend properly and easily because it's very ripe; usually, not very ripe pawpaw can give you a different outcome for the smoothie.

  • After blending, my papaya smoothie is ready, and the taste is just out of this world.

It's really delicious, and like I mentioned earlier, the health benefits are massive.

I enjoyed my drink and would love to know your thoughts about this amazing drink... Happy Sunday and cheers.
