Process 👨🏻‍🍳

First, take all-purpose flour in a large platter. Adjust the quantity as needed; I have shared the measurements for 20 momos.

1000767593.jpg

Add salt and mix it well.

1000767583.jpg

Knead the dough by gradually adding water.

1000767589.jpg

Let the dough rest for 10 to 15 minutes. Meanwhile, you can prepare the stuffing.

1000767584.jpg

Grate the paneer into a bowl.

1000769925.jpg

Now add the boiled corn, grated ginger, chopped green chilies.

1000769924.jpg

Now add Red Chilli powder, Balck pepper and Salt.

1000767550.jpg

Add Cheese cubes into it.

Note - I added cheese to this. If you don't have it or don't feel like it, you can skip it; you can also add chopped onion and garlic, Feel free to add any veggies and spices you like; it's completely up to you.

1000767551.jpg

Mix well so that everything combined well.

1000767565.jpg

Knead the dough again and pinch a ball-sized dough.

1000767568.jpg

Make small dough balls and roll them out one by one.

1000767585.jpg

Roll and flatten as thin as possible.

1000767574.jpg

Place a prepared paneer stuffing in centre.

1000767586.jpg

start pleating from one side. pleat until you reach ¾ of the momos, then seal the pleated part with other part and secure tight.

NOTE- Folding momos isn't easy—I learned it only after watching videos a few times. My pleating didn't turn out great, but luckily none broke open while steaming. Make sure to pay close attention to this and pleat them properly.

1000767563.jpg

Reapeat the process with the remaining materials.

1000767552.jpg

Heat a steamer & Apply oil on the streamer tray.

1000767288.jpg

Arrange the momos in the tray without touching each other as shown in the picture.

1000767573.jpg

furthermore, steam momos for 12-15 minutes or till shiny, translucent & sheen appears over it.

1000767289.jpg

Finally, paneer momos recipe is ready to enjoy with momos chutney.

1000767302.jpg

The momos turned out truly delicious and juicy—you must give them a try! In my next blog, I'll definitely share the chutney recipe too, made without onion or garlic.
