Hello Splinterfam...
It's been a while since I last took a challenge and posted here on Peakd. I'm hoping you'll indulge and spare me a moment of your precious time to read through my entry once more. This battle is fought using my alt account. You may issue a challenge to me to prove ownership of the account.
RULESET, MANA CAP & SPLINTER AVAILABILITY
ARMORED UP
All Monsters have 2 Armor in addition to their normal Armor stat
Use magic attacks, but the opponent will do the same, so focus on HP. Is countered by Rust or Wizard of Eastwood's summoner ability.
BROKEN ARROWS
Ranged attack Monsters may not be used in battles.
A high HP first monster with Void ability will deal with both melee and magic. Give your tank a back up with a tank heal support. Using Thorns or Magic Reflect is also very useful in this rule set. Defend against either Magic or Melee attacks by using the right summoner and then use monsters' abilities to deal with the other attack type.

Considering the effecting ruleset in play, I opted to use GrandMaster Rathe as my summoner since he can offer or grant my team with Void ability. This will make the enemy monster's attacks hit my team's armor first. It is most likely the opposing battle mage will use magic attack monsters as usual counter to the Armored Up ruleset so choosing Rathe is the best option I can have for the coming battle. Other summoner like Immortalis is also a great counter for the said ruleset since he grants Shatter ability to friendly monster but in this battle Earth Splinter cannot be used so he is out for the count.

When Armored Up ruleset is in play, using low health monsters in a battle is usually counter-productive. Using certain summoners like GrandMaster Rathe to grant Void ability will increase the chance of him staying in the battle for a longer time. Equipped with the Bloodlust he can gain plus one to all of his stats everytime he successfully defeated an enemy so him having low health is not a problem. Also with the succeeding monster to be placed in the line-up he can surely wreak havoc before he is killed.
Adelade Brigthwing is one of the perfect monster to use when Armored Up ruleset is on. He can repair friendly monster's armor while dealing damage to the opponents at the same time.
T͎͎I͎͎M͎͎E͎ ͎M͎͎A͎͎G͎͎E͎
Time Mage will reduce all all opposing monster's speed giving my team the speed advantage. He can deal magic attack which is also a good counter for Armored Up ruleset since magic directly hits opponent's HP.

͎D͎͎J͎͎I͎͎N͎͎N͎ ͎R͎͎E͎͎N͎͎O͎͎V͎͎A͎
I've chosen this monster to increase health of my ally monsters since most of my chosen team has low health. She can also deal 2units of magic damage diretly hitting opponent's HP by-passing the Armored Up ruleset.
C͎͎L͎͎O͎͎C͎͎K͎͎W͎͎O͎͎R͎͎K͎ ͎A͎͎I͎͎D͎͎E͎
While Time Mage reduces speed of all opposing monsters, Clockwork Aide will buff my ally monsters with an increased speed giving me additional speed advantage. Using GrandMaster Rathe as my summoner will grant me full advantage of his high amount of armor.

This monster is used in this battle simply as a meatshield or a filler. The enemy's Sneak or Opportunity monsters will focus their attack on this sacrificial pawn. Placing this monster in the last slot means I'm taking or wasting some of the opponents valuable turn whichever type of monster he used... be it a Sneak or Opportunity monster.
When all monsters have taken the battlefield I know that my monsters have high percentage of winning since the opposing battle mage didn't use any monster that can directly affect or remove my monsters in one shot like Shatter ability. While he may have debuffed my monsters with minus one magic attack, his choosing of Disintegrator has almost no effect at all since I only have one melee attacking monster plus my Tank has the Bloodlust so Disintegrator's is countered perfectly. You can check the comparison of **Jared's stats before the battle started and after it has ended
Jared's attacking power after being debuffed by Disintegrator
Jared's stats after the battle.
You can see that most of my attacking monsters is still present with two monsters missing including the sacrificial pawn.
Shown below is an example of Bloodlust ability at work paired with Repair from Adelade Brightwing
Killing a Tank with such an ability aided with a monster with Repair is suchan ardous task😂😂😂
Complete victory is claimed by my team which has made full use of the Armored Up ruleset. Victory is easy to be claimed when all the monsters compliments each other or aids each other in the battlefield. I have made full use of the other abilities to buff my team and debuff the enemy monsters..
There goes my entry for this week. Hope you liked it. Thank you once again for visiting…Till next time..Stay safe always...and have fun battling..
