The Black Widow is a Death Element ranged unit that enters the fray with decent Health and Armor, alongside moderate attack power. Although it has a high Mana cost, it can turn the tide of a match under the right circumstances. At higher levels, the Black Widow gains the Poison ability. Poison gives it a chance to afflict the opponent after a successful attack, causing the poisoned unit to take extra damage each round. Because of this Poison ability, even if the Black Widow doesn't deal massive direct damage, it steadily weakens enemy units over time making it especially effective against high-Health tanks.

On the battlefield, it functions best as a backline damage dealer. Since it is a ranged unit, it should be placed in the back ranks rather than the front, as ranged units generally cannot attack from the first position.
