I came across another fallen machine alongside the body of a Tenakth named Dax, concluding he died in battle against it. After enjoying in the stunning landscape views and spotting the Zenith base in the distance, I made my way toward a waterfall to clear out machines.
I came across another dead machine, and it was a big one. I knew it would take a lot of hits to bring something like that down, but I kept myself ready for anything.
Nearby, I found a dead Tenakth who turned out to be Dax, Nakko's brother. His body was lying right beside another fallen machine. After examining the site, it clear to me that the Tenakth died fighting the machine, what a waste!
I took a moment to look at the view ahead, and it was absolutely amazing. I could easily spend hours, or maybe even years, capturing photos of these landscapes. Out in the distance, I spotted what must be the Zenith base, glowing with lights just like the Tenakth had been talking about.
I could also see the area where the Horus was located. While I knew I needed to head there eventually, I decided to go to the waterfall first.
My plan was to reach the waterfall and clear out the machines, as promised. I knew there had to be a lure nearby drawing the machines in. Using my Focus, I scanned the environment and managed to locate the machine lure that I needed to disable.
Around the area, I spotted a Longleg and a Scorcher, both of which looked extremely dangerous. Still, I knew I had to handle them. I hid in the tall grass and waited for the Scorcher to get close so I could attempt a silent strike.
When it came within range, I made my move and struck. However, the machine didn't go down immediately from the strike. So, I made a quick escape and waited for the machine to lose track of me as it searched the area.
Unfortunately, I made a mistake and fell right in front of both machines, exposing my position. They spotted me again, forcing me to hurry back into the hiding zone.
Fortunately, the machines couldn't climb up to reach me where I was safely perched. I started waiting for them to forget about me again so I can go after them quietly.
The next post will be coming soon. Screenshots are my take from the game and I took the game logo that I used on the thumbnail picture from online.
SEE YOU.
