Blade in the Grass - Ghost of Tsushima.

I traveled toward Komoda Beach and passed scenic areas like Kashine Hills and Urashima Falls. Along the path, a survivor warned me about angry samurai spirits in Kashine Forest. Later, I collected a special sword at a pillar of honor before helping Masako defeat a group of Mongols at Komoda Beach.

I was back on the track, riding directly toward Komoda Beach. As I moved through the region, I took a moment to look at the surrounding landscape. There was a lovely waterfall nearby located at Urashima Falls.

That entire side of the map looked picture-perfect with its dramatic natural sights. I felt I should have come to this place long ago to take some photographs, but it was good to finally discover these areas. I made a mental note to return later for a proper photography session.

While exploring, I noticed a few survivors standing around the area. One of them looked like she wanted to speak with me, likely to direct me toward another task.

I approached her to listen to what she had to say. She urged me not to venture into the forests of Kashine because people believed the woods were haunted by angry spirits of samurai eager to spill blood.

Jin doubted that spirits were behind the trouble, as the victims had all been slain by samurai blades. Jin mentioned those blades belonged to living men rather than ghosts, and he decided to look into the matter.

This conversation added a new rumor location to the map called Whispers in the Woods, which I planned to check out after finishing my current task with Masako.

I continued my journey toward Masako's location, riding through First General's Field. The open landscape was covered in tall pampas grass and filled with white flowers, making the scenery look breathtaking.

However, as I rode further, I noticed a section of the field was scorched and scattered with the bodies of fallen soldiers.

Nearby, I spotted a pillar of honor. I approached it and found a custom sword design resting at the base. It was the Genbu's Darkness, made for warriors who celebrated the shadows.

I collected the item and added it to my personal inventory before resuming my search for Lady Masako, knowing she could not be far away.

It did not take long to spot Masako below, locked in a fierce battle against a group of Mongol soldiers. I leaped straight off my horse and charged into the fray to assist her. I immediately struck down the first enemy I landed near, quickly taking him out of the fight.

From there, I turned my attention toward the remaining soldiers while Masako fought valiantly at my side. Together, we made quick work of the remaining enemies until the area was entirely clear.

After the fight ended, I noticed one remaining soldier groaning on the ground, struggling to cling to life. I quickly ended his suffering with a swift blow. Masako stood nearby, waiting to speak with me about her situation.

I walked over to talk with her. When Jin asked what she was doing out in the field, she explained that she was searching for her family. She had already found the body of her husband, but she was still looking for her sons, who had fallen in battle while defending their home.

Masako asked Jin if he had seen where they fell during the initial clash. Jin explained that the battle was chaotic, so he could barely keep his eyes on his uncle, meaning he had not seen her sons.
