I moved deeper into the area, barely dodging an incoming guard before taking him out. I trapped a brazier to prevent enemy reinforcement signals. After hiding a fallen body, I used a sleep dart on a captain and eliminated him. Finally, I took down another guard guarding the inner entrance.
I moved carefully toward the next section of the compound, keeping my head low as I scanned the area ahead. I spotted an archer guard standing watch along the perimeter path. I closed the distance rapidly and brought him down with a swift strike before he even knew what hit him.
I realized I had nearly overlooked a nearby signal brazier sitting right on the edge of the path. Leaving an open brazier untouched was far too dangerous. So, I carefully walked over to the brazier and rigged a trap on it.
I continued forward and spotted the outpost commander standing near a large entrance. He was actively scanning the area, making it difficult to find a clear opening. As I attempted to position myself for a clean strike, he turned toward me suddenly, forcing me to dive into nearby cover to break his line of sight.
While waiting for another chance at the commander, I noticed other soldiers patrolling the nearby walkways. If any of them stumbled across a fallen enemy body, the entire compound would immediately go on high alert, making my objective dangerous.
My attention quickly shifted back to an active guard walking nearby. I attempted to ignite some nearby flammable barrels to create a sudden distraction, but the fire did not spread as quickly as I had hoped. The guard sensed something was wrong and began actively searching the area around my position.
I waited until he was directly beneath me. I leaped down from above, landing a precise air assassination that dropped him instantly. Since other guards were heading toward the burning area, I grabbed the body and hid it safely inside the dense foliage.
Shortly after hiding the corpse, the high ranking target approached to investigate the unusual activity. I mistook him for the commander, but later I realized he was actually another captain. I watched his movement pattern, and was waiting for the right opening.
I fired a quiet sleep dart to neutralize him instantly before he could react. Then I moved in fast and finished him off silently. I hid the body as well.
I spotted another soldier standing guard right at an entrance. Creeping up behind him without making a single sound, I dropped him smoothly and cleared the threshold.
I'll show more of my photographic journey of the games soon, so stay tuned to my blog if you liked them.
