(As on pretty much every hike in the Bavarian Alps, we passed cows on the Wendelstein as well.)

Hi Actifitters,

yesterday - after quite a long time - I decided to put myself to the test again and get my heart rate up. So I warmed up briefly and then swung myself onto my Giant Anyroad to challenge my body.

It kicked off with a 30-minute training session suggested by Zwift, designed to improve my sprinting skills. This session was truly no joke and required real endurance. The difficulty level was 4.5 out of 5, and it left my thighs burning. Here are some stats from the workout:

Duration - 0:30:10
Distance - 17.10 km
Elevetaion gain - 88 m
Average speed - 34.0 km/h
Maximum speed - 52.5 km/h
Average power output - 218 watts
Maximum power output - 334 watts
Average heart rate - 146 bpm
Maximum heart rate - 172 bpm

After a short break and some carbs, I hopped back on the bike to tackle the "Climb of the Week." Here, too, I didn't hold back and kept the intensity high. But see for yourself:

Duration - 0:25:18
Distance - 11.24 km
Elevetaion gain - 227 m
Average speed - 26.6 km/h
Maximum speed - 81.7 km/h
Average power output - 217 watts
Maximum power output - 500 watts
Average heart rate - 148 bpm
Maximum heart rate - 164 bpm

Last but not least, I also tackled the "Route of the Week." By this point, I was already feeling a bit exhausted, and it was tough to maintain the intensity right through to the end. But I pulled it off. Just take a look at my heart rate.

Duration - 0:16:59
Distance - 9.59 km
Elevetaion gain - 109 m
Average speed - 33.9 km/h
Maximum speed - 64.8 km/h
Average power output - 236 watts
Maximum power output - 542 watts
Average heart rate - 165 bpm
Maximum heart rate - 184 bpm

With that effort still in my legs, I’m going to take it easy today. If I have enough time, I’ll do a short virtual recovery ride. Otherwise, I’ve only planned a bit of core stability and flexibility training.
