(Here's the first thing I consciously noticed after we collected our suitcases from the carousel: the FC Bayern store at Munich Airport. Keep your fingers crossed for me that my boys do well in Madrid tonight.)

Hi Actifitters,

...immediately after unpacking our luggage, I was gripped by ambition. I was tired and about to take another nap on the sofa after my flight nap. An 11-hour flight definitely takes its toll. But something inside me wanted to get back in the saddle.

So I booted up my PC and checked what challenges Zwift (software for indoor cycling training) had in store for me. And lo and behold, as if they knew I was only able to perform at a limited capacity after the flight, I could choose between two relatively relaxed challenges (route of the week and climb of the week) that had only been available until yesterday.

In the end, I rode both and on top of that, a short 11-kilometer live race with 135 participants. I can hardly believe I finished the race in 19th place. It's truly impressive what you're capable of even when you're out of shape.

Today I'll be taking it a bit easier when it comes to sports. I'm heading back to work soon. Luckily, I can work from home all week.

Of course, I can't do without any movement at all, so I'll try to do some core stability training and my steps are of course mandatory.
