La Asunción el lugar más encantador de la Isla de Margarita [ESP-ENG]

Hola amigos @hivermagarita espero la estén pasando bien en compañía de sus seres queridos.

Ayer mi hija tuvo una presentación en el Centro de Artes Omar Carreño. Tenía mucho tiempo sin visitarlo. Hace un tiempo cambiaron el lugar de sus ensayos y presentaciones a Pampatar, por lo tanto casi ya no voy al teatro. También aproveché esta oportunidad para caminar por algunos lugares especiales en los alrededores, algo que me gusta mucho hacer en la Asunción.

Debo reconocer que La Asunción es, al igual que Pampatar, uno de los lugares que más me agradan de toda la Isla de Margarita. Es una ciudad increíble donde se pueden conseguir lugares históricos como la Casa Natal de Juan Bautista Arismendi, la Casa de la Cultura Eugenio Navarro y el Museo Nueva Cádiz. Además, concentra un sin fín de instituciones públicas y ofrece un comercio muy amplio, junto a una excelente variedad de restaurantes. La verdad es que es un lugar muy, muy agradable.

Para muchos, La Asunción es historia y tradición; la maravillosa capital del estado Nueva Esparta. Para otros representa un sitio familiar, tranquilo y acogedor, lleno de cultura y fe. También es sinónimo de colores, murales, belleza y emociones que te guían hacia su emblemática Catedral. La Asunción no es solo la capital; es memoria, identidad y la esencia misma de Margarita. Aquí se siente una paz y una tranquilidad única. Es un rincón que te conecta directamente con las raíces margariteñas y cuida una de las iglesias más bellas y antiguas de toda Venezuela.

Yesterday, my daughter had a performance at the Omar Carreño Arts Center. It had been a long time since I’d been there. A while back, they moved their rehearsals and performances to Pampatar, so I hardly ever go to the theater anymore. I also took this opportunity to walk around some special spots in the surrounding area, something I really enjoy doing in La Asunción.

I have to admit that La Asunción is, just like Pampatar, one of my favorite places on the entire island of Margarita. It’s an incredible city where you can find historic sites such as the Birthplace of Juan Bautista Arismendi, the Eugenio Navarro House of Culture, and the Nueva Cádiz Museum. It’s also home to countless public institutions and offers a wide variety of shops, along with an excellent selection of restaurants. The truth is, it’s a very, very pleasant place.

For many, La Asunción is history and tradition—the wonderful capital of Nueva Esparta state. For others, it represents a familiar, peaceful, and welcoming place, full of culture and faith. It’s also synonymous with colors, murals, beauty, and emotions that lead you to its iconic cathedral. La Asunción isn’t just the capital; it’s memory, identity, and the very essence of Margarita. Here, you can feel a unique sense of peace and tranquility. It’s a place that connects you directly to Margarita’s roots and is home to one of the most beautiful and oldest churches in all of Venezuela.
