Knowing new places in Margarita Island – Paintball pure fun
Holidays and weekends are usually the days we most want to have during the year, in particular my family and I have really enjoyed these days off, perhaps because 2 years ago the days were the same inside the house because we couldn't exit product to the Covid-19 pandemic.
A very special greeting dear @weekendexperiences community. Taking advantage of the last free days left of school vacations in our country Venezuela, a friend of my son found out about a 2 for 1 offer in a recreation place that is relatively new here on Margarita Island, it's called Paintball, it's a type of sports-recreational activity that I had never seen before, the place is on a piece of land away from the road, conditioned for this type of games.
You must make a reservation beforehand, as we wanted it for the weekend we had to wait 2 weeks for it to be unoccupied for Saturday afternoon hours, apparently it is well demanded and we were able to verify it. That day we arrived a little before the time and so we could see other young people play, the children took advantage of the moment to amuse themselves outside the stage with spheres of paint that they got on the floor while the other game finished.
The game consists of putting together 2 teams that identify themselves with blue vests and red vests, in this case they were 4 children, but at the time of entry 2 more children arrived and asked to join the groups of children and as the idea is If there were many participants, the children agreed to play with them, so they added 1 child to each group.
For this type of game, they start by putting the vests and helmets on the participants and giving them instructions, these are not to take off the helmet or the vest and try not to waste the spheres. They give each one a marker that is the weapon, it contains 100 spheres, the spheres are filled with colored paint, the idea is to use them when necessary, in reality they run out very quickly and the fun is in playing as long as possible.
In the game field there are a series of barricades where the participants can hide, the important thing is not to be hit by any sphere, the idea of the game is to eliminate the participants of the opposite side and thus it will be easier to reach the objective than is to enter the opposite house.
It is a very fun pastime and a lot of movement because they have to move from one place to another to avoid being hit, the children really had a good time, the adults enjoyed themselves outside while the calving finished, we liked it a lot and since it had rained a little a beautiful rainbow, of course I did not miss the opportunity to take photos for the memory.
I can tell you that I have never seen a similar game, but reading a little this one has quite a bit of time and is a lot of fun for children and adults alike. In these times when we need to find distraction and a bit of activities for children, this type of game, in addition to being recreational, helps them burn a lot of calories, makes them release energy and relax, because I have always said I would like to have a quarter of the energy they have.
The idea of the colored spheres also causes them fun since when they break they fill with paint, the stage is conditioned for this type of activity, there is a bus, some old cars, many barricades of painted drums, rubber bands, we really liked it a lot the place, in the time we were there we saw many people enjoy this sport, the more participants there are the better.
At the end of the activity, after seeing a wonderful rainbow we were able to enjoy a beautiful sunset, the truth is that it was a great day and we had a good time both children and adults. Without a doubt, on our Isla de Margarita there are endless wonderful places where you can spend a pleasant weekend of fun.
