Agradecidos por tanta abundancia a lo largo de nuestra vida juntos, @dulce.crucita y este servidor que recién celebraron sus bodas de piedra, 37 años juntos. Y sin pintarnos las canas.
Celebramos con sencillez, junto a nuestros hijos en el hogar, que no es nuestra casa propia, esa la dejamos atrás al cuidado de otros, mientras los seguimos a ellos en el camino de la inmigración.
Ese al que muchos otros se vieron forzados buscando su bienestar y el de sus familias, en medio de los sucesos que padecen los venezolanos, así como otros pueblos en todo el planeta.
Cuando hace algo más de un año llegamos a Buenos Aires en medio del invierno austral, sentimos el frío más de lo que sospechábamos, en mi mente recordaba el invierno español de mi infancia, pero el cuerpo ya tropicalizado por más de medio siglo en tropical Caribe lo sintió muy crudo.
Sin embargo, el calor del afecto de familiares y amigos nos arropó, inclusive vinieron a visitarnos desde Mendoza, Santiago de Chile y la lejana California. Por todos lados sentimos calor humano en esta bendita tierra Argentina.

El 19 de agosto de 2024, asistí a la multitudinaria manifestación de la plaza La Flor, junto a la facultad de derecho de la Universidad, donde al menos cien mil personas se manifestaron en favor de la democracia y la libertad de Venezuela.
Asistí en compañía de un amigo y luego se unieron mis hijos, en esa ocasión tuve el placer de estrechar la mano y abrazar a @numa26, mi primer contacto con la comunidad @hiveargentina.
Contacto inicialmente digital, se ha transformado en una amistad dentro y fuera de la comunidad.

Una relación a distancia por los kilómetros que nos separan, finalmente el 23 de septiembre concretamos una reunión presencial en Plaza Italia, donde tuvimos el placer de compartir y estrechar lazos de amistad con otros integrantes de la familia @hiveargentina.
Aunque luego asistí a LABITCONF, solo fui el primer día y finalmente perdí la oportunidad de aprender un poco más acerca de aspectos técnicos relacionados con la blockchain.

Sinceramente, son muchas las ocasiones en que me superan los aspectos técnicos del Internet y solo salgo adelante por la asistencia de mis hijos, pero desde que ando por los bloques de la cadena, desde antes de la bifurcación, me doy cuenta de lo afortunado que soy.
En Cumaná, Venezuela, llegué a conocer a los integrantes del Cardumen, una comunidad integrada por profesionales de La Universidad de Oriente, de los cuales muchos continúan aquí en #Hive y otros en la muy querida Casa Ramos Sucre, nido de escritores, poetas y artistas en la primogénita del continente.

Haciendo balance de mis experiencias en La Colmena, cuento con la fortuna de haber sido favorecido con la amistad de destacados autores y creadores de contenido. Algunos esforzados curadores en lengua hispana, todos comprometidos en sumar a este proyecto en crecimiento que, como el reino del Creador, tiene muchas moradas.
Pero esta, @hiveargentina, es particularmente cálida y afectuosa, haciéndome sentir en casa.
A cuantos me leen los invito a publicar aquí, respetando las normas, que no son exigentes y si les complace etiquetar a algún amigo.
Aunque yo nombre a alguno y use sus imágenes en fotos de mi propiedad, prefiero respetar su privacidad y si me leen y se reconocen, pueden dejar un saludo, o no.

An Argentine Home in Hive

Grateful for so much abundance throughout our life together, @dulce.crucita and I, who just celebrated our stone wedding anniversary, 37 years together. And without dyeing our hair.
We celebrate with simplicity, together with our children in a home, which is not our own home; we leave it behind in the care of others, while we follow them on the path of immigration.
The same path that many others were forced to take, seeking their well-being and that of their families, amidst the events suffered by Venezuelans, as well as other peoples across the planet.
When we arrived in Buenos Aires a little over a year ago in the middle of the southern hemisphere winter, we felt the cold more than we suspected. In my mind, I remembered the Spanish winter of my childhood, but my body, already tropicalized for more than half a century in the tropical Caribbean, felt it very harsh.
However, the warmth of family and friends enveloped us; they even came to visit us from Mendoza, Santiago de Chile, and faraway California. We felt the warmth of humanity everywhere in this blessed Argentine land.

On August 19, 2024, I attended the massive demonstration in Plaza La Flor, next to the University's Law School, where at least 100,000 people demonstrated in support of democracy and freedom for Venezuela. I attended with a friend, and my children joined me later. On that occasion, I had the pleasure of shaking hands and hugging @numa26, my first contact with the @hiveargentina community.
Initially a digital contact, it has transformed into a friendship both within and outside the community.

A long-distance relationship due to the kilometers that separate us, we finally arranged an in-person meeting on September 23rd at Plaza Italia, where we had the pleasure of sharing and strengthening bonds of friendship with other members of the @hiveargentina family.
Although I later attended LABITCONF, I only went for the first day and ultimately missed the opportunity to learn a little more about the technical aspects of blockchain.

Honestly, there are many times when the technical aspects of the internet overwhelm me and I only get by with the help of my children, but since I've been using the blockchain since before the fork, I realize how fortunate I am.
In Cumaná, Venezuela, I got to know the members of Cardumen, a community made up of professionals from the Universidad de Oriente, many of whom remain here at #Hive and others at the beloved Casa Ramos Sucre, a nest of writers, poets, and artists in the continent's firstborn.

Taking stock of my experiences at La Colmena, I am fortunate to have been blessed with the friendship of distinguished authors and content creators. Some are hardworking Spanish-language curators, all committed to contributing to this growing project, which, like the Creator's kingdom, has many dwellings.
But this one, @hiveargentina, is particularly warm and affectionate, making me feel at home.
