Saludos, compañeros de @hiveargentina. Jamás pensé que hablaría de esto, pero, teniendo ante mis ojos esta comunidad Argentina, se me hace imposible no hacerlo. Hay gustos que uno tiene y que, sinceramente, ni sabe explicar de dónde vienen. En mi caso, siendo venezolano, tengo que confesar que el acento argentino me fascina, pero especialmente el de las mujeres. ¡No sé qué tiene esa manera de hablar que me atrapa! A veces estoy viendo cualquier video por internet y, apenas escucho a una argentina hablar, me quedo pendiente de lo que dice. Ojo, no es morbo ni nada fuera de lo común; incluso me pasa cuando el tema no es algo que normalmente me interese.

There are certain things we like that, honestly, we can't even explain where they come from. In my case, as a Venezuelan, I have to confess that I'm fascinated by the Argentine accent, especially when women speak. I don't know what it is about the way they talk, but it really draws me in! Sometimes I'm watching a random video online, and as soon as I hear an Argentine woman speaking, I find myself paying attention to what she's saying. And just to be clear, it's not about anything inappropriate or unusual; it even happens when the topic isn't something I'd normally be interested in.

También me pasa con los cantantes argentinos y con algunas series de humor donde ese acento se roba buena parte de mi atención. Una de esas series es "Poné a Francella", donde Guillermo Francella interpreta a Arturo. ¡Por Dios, veo esto una y otra vez! Me gusta cómo alargan ciertas palabras, la forma en que pronuncian la «sh» y esa manera tan particular de expresarse, que a veces puede sonar seria y, al segundo siguiente, resultar de lo más graciosa. No es que el acento venezolano no me guste, ¡porque el mío es el mío y lo llevo con orgullo!, pero hay que reconocer que cada país tiene su encanto y los argentinos tienen algo especial en su forma de hablar.

The same thing happens to me with Argentine singers and some comedy shows where the accent steals a good deal of my attention. One of those shows is Poné a Francella, if I remember correctly, in which Guillermo Francella plays Arturo. Oh my God, I could watch it over and over again! I like the way they stretch certain words, how they pronounce the "sh" sound, and that very distinctive way of expressing themselves, which can sometimes sound serious and then, a second later, become absolutely hilarious. It's not that I dislike the Venezuelan accent, because it's my own and I wear it with pride! But we have to admit that every country has its charm, and Argentinians have something special about the way they speak.

Hace poco me encontré casualmente por internet con un artículo que hablaba sobre cómo los acentos influyen en nuestras emociones, nuestras impresiones y la manera en que percibimos a otras personas. El acento argentino, especialmente el rioplatense, goza de un nivel de aceptación muy alto y aparece de manera consistente en los primeros lugares de las listas de los acentos más atractivos, sexis y melodiosos. Y ahora les pregunto algo, porque seguro que no soy el único con esta curiosidad: ¿ustedes también tienen debilidad por el acento de algún país? ¿Les gusta el argentino, el colombiano, el chileno o prefieren mil veces el venezolano?
