A veces no podemos.

Espe.

Today I want to share something a little different from what I usually post here.

In this video, I wanted to showcase some Argentine startups that I’ve come to know, follow, and buy from over time. Some came to my attention through social media, others through recommendations, and others simply because I fell in love with what they do.
There’s something I really love about buying from a small business: knowing that behind that product there’s a person who designed it, created it, chose the materials, fulfilled orders, replied to messages, handled the books, posted content, and surely had to persevere a lot to keep their project going.

And I think that, when we can, choosing to buy from someone who’s creating right here is also a way to support that process.

In my case, there’s also a special connection to stationery, stickers, journals, and all those things you already know I love. In the video, I show you some purchases from by.paLe, a stationery startup I discovered whose work I think is gorgeous, as well as some items from Strawberry Mail Club—Gaby’s project I’ve mentioned before—and this creative set with its beautiful Midori notebook, which is going to become a great companion.

Here you can see Gaby's beautiful work

There are also some items that I received as gifts and others that I bought because I liked their designs or because I wanted to support what they were doing.

I don't think supporting a small business necessarily means buying from them all the time. Sometimes we just can't. But we can also follow their work, share it, recommend it, comment on their posts, or simply let someone else know what they do.

You should really check out everything Betería Creativa has to offer

That chain is also incredibly valuable to me.

Because entrepreneurship isn’t just about having a great idea. It’s about sticking with it. It’s about working when no one is watching yet. It’s about investing without knowing exactly what’s going to happen. It’s about learning, making mistakes, trying again, and trusting that the project can grow.
That’s why I wanted to make this video: to show you some of those small brands that are now part of the things I use, enjoy, and also incorporate into my own creative projects.

I’ve included their social media links above so you can get to know them and their ventures, and I hope their products resonate with you—maybe you can even support them in some way.

I think that when one person creates something and another decides to appreciate it, share it, or buy it, something creative happens there, too.
Supporting Argentine startups is also a form of creation.

A huge hug.
Hope.

Esperanza

Today I thank myself for the fears I overcame even with broken legs and soul. Hope
