Hi everyone, I loved one of the questions, especially since I had to go out today to do the weekly shopping and was amused at how much I wished I had some magic power to keep me from leaving the house in this hellish heat and sun.
If you could choose between telekinesis or telepathy this weekend which would you choose and why, and how would you use it?
Ever wish you could move things with your mind or read someone else's thoughts? Well, according to 
If I could choose telekinesis, I could move things at will with just my mind. With it, I could cook, wash and clean without having to exert myself physically. Wouldn't that be great? Also, I could do the shopping from the comfort of my home and send the bags with the money so that they would take care of themselves. However, if I chose telepathy, I could read my mother's thoughts and better understand the origin of her whims when she stays with me on weekends 😁.
I don't know if you've seen the series "The Vampire Diaries" where these two powers are clearly evident in some of the characters. For example, in the series, the witch Bonnie Bennet has the power of telekinesis and uses it to move objects with her mind and protect her friends, as well as to defend herself from her enemies. Telepathy is the power possessed by the vampires in the series, especially those of the Salvatore family and the Originals, who communicate telepathically with each other.
With telekinesis as a power, I could get things done faster, but I think I might experience mental fatigue from using my power for everything (since I would use it for everything). Also I guess I wouldn't be able to move everything since there are really big and heavy objects.
With telepathy, I could instantly understand why people act a certain way in certain circumstances and understand what they mean without them having to talk to me, but it would be difficult to constantly hear people's thoughts and ideas of disturbing people like psychopaths, pedophiles or rapists would generate fear in me. Sometimes, it is better not to know so much in order to maintain better peace of mind.
Now, this weekend I would choose telekinesis and if I had more weekends to choose from, I would make the same choice. Imagine doing household chores, like cleaning and cooking, from the comfort of bed without having to physically exert myself. That would be a huge energy and time saver. Of course, as with everything, I could become dependent on this, but I won't as I would have a routine for physical activity every day. My interest in telekinesis is purely because I wish to make my life easier, not to destroy myself.
