I do not know if this writing has enough quality because I have been amazed by the amount of good publications I have read, but I want to leave my impression about obsessive jealousy and its harmful damages. Without further ado, here are my impressions on the subject.
In my walk through life I have seen that many people become slaves of jealousy and imprison themselves in a feeling that becomes unhealthy, when we are afraid of losing our partner and we see ghosts in all the interpersonal relationships that this one has.
Many times we resort to formulas that turn us into puppets or ridicules in this relationship that we call a couple.
At other times this feeling becomes obsessive possessive and ends up hurting, culminating a relationship and at various times we have seen cases that jealousy has come to hurt the loved one.
From all this I want to leave my opinion on this issue that makes us prisoners of a relationship and transmits us a permanent fear of losing the other party.
insecurity
Jealousy exists, is it good or bad? That depends. You are jealous of what you want, what you are interested in or what you love. One should not feel ashamed to love and even less to show it, what is bad is to love someone who does not love you as much as you deserve, what is unforgivable is to beg to be loved, to ask to be loved, that is inadmissible: if you have to beg to be loved you are sick.
However hard the road of love may be, it is better to say goodbye when you are not loved than to stay there, in the end life goes on and the pain passes. After loving you love again and what you thought would tear you apart makes you stronger, you learn from failed loves, it makes you a shell and you don't let them hurt you again.
The hard thing is to see ghosts in every relationship with your partner, to think that every person with whom he/she has a relationship tries to take it away from us, to harm us or to kill the relationship and this makes you prey to insecurity, jealousy and doubts.
When you become a slave to love or what you think is love, you descend to the lowest rung of feelings, you are mocked, hurt and disrespected. It is better to cut once and for all, when you realize that love is over, and not to cling to something that hurts you, destroys you, discards you. You are the most important being in your life, therefore respecting you is the essential rule that ratifies this thesis.
jealousy and pain
Love does not end when you end a relationship, it ends when one of the parties does not show that tingle for the other, when one does not feel the need to see the other, when you realize that the rain stopped falling with the same intensity of yesteryear. In that case, the best thing to do is to end it, and for the lover it will hurt a lot, but it is the best way to respect love.
The answer is no, but this cannot turn you into a permanent insecure person because this not only affects your relationship and emotional security, but also affects your physical and mental health.
