Hace tiempo que quería compartir esta receta, super sencilla, con todos. No la había preparado, aún cuando es de las preferidas de mi hija y esposo, es el exquisito quesillo.

I've wanted to share this super simple recipe with everyone for a long time. I had not prepared it, even though it is one of the favorites of my daughter and husband, it is the exquisite quesillo.
Necesitamos:
4 huevos.
1 taza de azúcar.
2 tazas de leche líquida.
4 cucharadas de leche en polvo
1/2 cucharada de Vainilla
Ron al gusto.
Para el caramelo usaremos 1 taza de azúcar.

Preparación:
Lo primero que haremos es el caramelo, para ello, añadimos la taza de azúcar a la quesillera. Lo ponemos a cocinar a fuego lento, y dejamos que vaya mermando y dorandose el azúcar.
Cuando esté disuelta, con mucho cuidado, expandirlo a los lados, para que el molde quede bien sellado de caramelo. Con mucho cuidado, porque el azúcar, a esta temperatura, es sumamente peligrosa. Dejamos que se enfrie.
When it is dissolved, very carefully, expand it to the sides, so that the mold is well sealed with caramel. Very carefully, because sugar, at this temperature, is extremely dangerous. We let it cool down.
Mientras el caramelo se enfría, preparamos la mezcla del quesillo. para ello, licuamos los huevos por unos segundos, luego añadimos la leche liquida, el azúcar, la leche en polvo, la vainilla y el ron.
While the caramel cools, we prepare the cheese mixture. To do this, we blend the eggs for a few seconds, then add the liquid milk, the sugar, the powdered milk, the vanilla and the rum.
Al estar bien licuados, lo llevamos a la quesillera y la tapamos.

En la olla que se va a cocinar, llenarla por debajo de la mitad de agua, le ponemos un pañito de cocina, para evitar que la quesillera se mueva cuando empiece a hervir el agua. Tapamos la olla y la llevamos a la hornilla por 50 minutos.
