Camino el atardecer
evoco los días lejanos
cuando subir a los árboles
era la mayor hazaña
de nuestras vidas
y las preocupaciones
eran un fantasma
de un futuro que parecía lejano

Camino por las calles
olvidadas
nombres que ya no
existen
lugares que se desvanecieron
Son los mismos
pero no son los mismos
las calles, más viejas
evocan las historias de antaño
cuando la felicidad era una ilusión

Tarde nos dimos cuenta de que lo que
perdimos era la vida misma.

Ahora camino sobre las ruinas
de la tarde con los viejos
recuerdos a cuestas
sin poder recuperar
lo que algún día pudo ser.

Streets

I walk the sunset
I evoke the distant days
when climbing trees
was the greatest feat
of our lives
and worries
were a phantom
of a future that seemed far away

I walk through the streets
forgotten
names that no longer
exist
places that vanished
They are the same
but they are not the same
the streets, older
evoke the stories of yesteryear
when happiness was an illusion

Late we realized that what
we lost was life itself.

Now I walk on the ruins
of the afternoon with the old
memories on my back
unable to recover
what once could have been.
