Having attended several fiesta celebrations the past week made my stomach bloated and leery with too much choles due to the greasy "lechon" and desserts that were served. I rummaged in my kitchen cupboard tonight determined not to eat any of those kinds of food anymore.
I decided then to make my own version of a tuna salad.
Here's how I manage my tuna salad the simplest and easiest way with the easy-to-find ingredients right in your kitchen.
Ingredients:
1/4 chopped white onion
Mayonnaise
Any brand of tuna or mackerel in oil(1 small can or as desired)
3 lemonsito
3 strands of onion leaves (as desired)
Salt
Procedure:
- Open the can of tuna in oil, mashed with a fork.
- Add some mayonnaise, the chopped onions, and a pinch of salt to taste.
- Squeeze the lemonsitos to enhance the salad.
- Mix well and add some onion leaves for a better visual presentation.
- There it is. Enjoy your Tuna Salad!
Hope you will love it from my kitchen to yours,
