Hello, friends especially foodies!
Recently I tried one of the most famous brand for geprek chicken in my city. If you don’t know yet about geprek chicken I would like to tell you a bit about it. Geprek is slank in my language which means broke into pieces until shredded, so geprek chicken means they broke the chicken into pieces (without bone) until it shredded.
The most famous stall which I visited was located in Foodentic, a food court in Gajah Mada Plaza, one of the oldest shopping center in my city which was still under renovation. The food court itself was cool, with the style of wooden furnish and they said it was the old Chinatown style. Now talking back to the food stall where I got the chicken, the name of it was Ayam Keprabon Express. It is a chain of well known local franchise famous brand.
The stall was not large cause it already said express, right? It provided some packages of geprek chicken rice and iced tea, which they offered in standard geprek chicken, jumbo geprek chicken, and mozzarella geprek chicken with scrambled fried egg too. Beside those packages, they also sold indomie geprek package. Indomie is a well known brand of our instant noodle. They also got sushi geprek and sushi gemes which made me surprised. There also you could choose the spicy chilli paste (but they didn’t offer me to choose :’) and also the level of its’ spiciness.
They also had package for children which means it wasn’t spicy at all. And you could ask for extra rice, kremes (crispy fried), shredded cheese, spicy chilli paste, tofu or tempeh, fried cabbage, fried egg, sunny side up, stinky beans, mozzarella cheese, fried intestine or double mozzarella cheese.
After I had ordered their most famous menu, I was waiting for around 10-15 minutes to get it delivered to my table. The look of it was ordinary, you would see the mozzarella cheese all over the chicken and scrambled egg (until you couldn’t see the chicken and also egg), a plastic spoon and sliced cucumber.
The taste of it was amazing, the chicken tasted savory and so tasty. Crunchy outer skin with soft chicken, scrambled egg was perfect too in savory. I loved how the mozzarella cheese blended and roasted all over the chicken and egg, the mozzarella cheese was also perfect, tasty in cheesy savory flavour. Really yummy :9! Oh yeah before I forget, it also had perfect spicy chilli sauce too.
But dare you to try cause it was super spicy?
