Hello, everyone!

This is my first time posting through liketu to hive blog and in this first time I would like to say hello to all. If you don’t know me yet you could visit my blog devyleona@devyleona where I usually write about what I like, CRAFT – craft art food travel…

Well I don’t know, what you usually like to do in the shopping center? Last Saturday, after some strolling around, a bit tired and hungry mom and I decided to have some snacks, but we still didn’t know what to have that time.. Then I thought about one of the most popular stall in the food court. So we then decided to go back to the food court.

But oh la la, the food court was full, all of the tables had customers….
No wonder because this place is popular and you could find any kind of food there, from the specialists, so you could see the result.. but no need to worry cause we still could find some sharing tables there. So mom was sitting while me, I needed to buy us the snacks.

Here how the snack stall looked
Located in a corner, next to the ramen stall where we had our brunch on the same day, this stall made me curious because it was so popular. I needed to queue up around 15 minutes or more, because there were other customers before me.

The foodstall name was CHIGO!, cause it related to their only chicken menu. And go, they decided to make it in go style, put I easy carry on place. And the menu that they offered were…
Chi-boneless – boneless chicken which they packaged with rice/french fries plus drink
Chi-wings – chicken wings which also they offered in packages.
Or you could also chose both in chi-party, a package for 6 persons.
Beside they also had some econonomic rice menu in bowls.
And if you don’t want to get the chicken with the package you could also bought them ala carte.
They didn’t only sell the fried chicken just as it is, cause they had some special sauces or even chilli paste for it. The variants of them that they offered were fried noodle, lousiana Cajun, garlic parmigiano, asian honey soy, or creamy cheese, for free. While for spicy rendang or samyang korean, and chilli paste like onion, matah, smashed, kecombrang and roa, you needed to pay a bit.
Beside chicken they also sold cookies and also coffee, but I wouldn’t talk much cause that day I bought their chicken.

There we needed to order, pay then waiting for the order, that would be ready in 10 minutes of preparation (but I needed to wait for other customers before me first).
I bought the medium size ala carte boneless chicken with fries which costed me 58,5 K IDR or around 3.93 USD. I thought this price was common, but you could also use an online payment which could give you 25K IDR or around 1.57 USD cashback (and luckily I did!). So I got less price for the snacks we never tasted before.

After I got the food, I took it to our sharing table, then we had a good time enjoying our snacks.
Like I said to you I ordered the medium size of their boneless chicken, with garlic parmigiano sauce and also their medium french fries. They packaged them in cup which made me surprise, unique, cause this way would make them easy to carry.

Let’s talk about the taste and flavour now,
** GARLIC PARMIGIANO BONELESS CHICKEN**
For me, the chicken was tasty in savory flavour. It had crunchy skin with soft smooth chicken inside. It looked and tasted like Japanese karaage, but they used the wing parts meat, the exact part is the tulip part of the wing, which served in whole, it made me remembered one of my childhood favorite dish, chicken tulip. While the sauce I chose, garlic parmigiano which the seller said one of their best seller, had sweet savory flavour. Perfect with the chicken!

** FRENCH FRIES**
The fries they sold were crunchy and had savory flavour, I said it had too much salt, as you could see. Mom loved it more than the chicken, while me, I preferred their boneless chicken more.

Anyway these how we had our table and also the other side of the food court which like I said, were all full.
Even it was crowded we enjoyed our snack time together there!

My impression:
Their chicken was a perfect combination of west and east, which reminded me of the popular XXL chicken from Taiwan, but with the sauce that came from Wing Stop, but they mixed them in their style, could see that this was Indonesian style, cause they also provided some authentic Indonesian chilli paste as the companion plus the fried chicken, even they deep batter fried it, it tasted Indonesian in some of the spices they used. So like I said if you want a mix taste and flavour of the eastern and western food, you might found the taste here.
The stall was popular so better to come there when the outlet just opened in the morning plus you could easily find some chairs and tables.

So wanna try the CHICKEN there too?
