Hello, friends especially foodies!
Recently on my last day went to work before the long holiday, mom picked me up in the office then we went for the dinner in one of our most favorite indonesian food restaurant which well known with their ribs menu. This restaurant was located in one of the old plaza which my city has and the plaza is still under renovation until now and not yet finished.
The restaurant was located on the 2nd floor and here how it looked...
When we arrived at around 5pm they even already got some customers. This restaurant was quite popular among ribs lovers...
The furnish there mostly made from wood and they had a washing hand area there too. On their wall they had some pictures of their food dishes, and some old pictures of our city. The dining area they had was quite large and cozy.
Time to order, when we arrived and chose the table we wanted, the waitress gave the menu to us..
Like i already told you, the menu they offered there were short ribs in konro, smashed, deep fried flour, roasted, or soup. For other menus they also had chicken, duck, kind of satays, fish dishes and others...
They also had some veggies menus and also rice packages too.
After had ordered we were waiting at around 20 minutes to get the food ready then delivered. Here how our dinner looked
What we ordered that day were short ribs soup, tofu meatballs and also stirred water spinach. All looked tasty, but we hadn't tasted it yet...
The first dish we tried that day was their stirred water spinach.
It awkwardly had sweet flavour and some pepper flavour. The texture of the water spinach was okay because it was young, it wasn't too hard and soft enough. I thought they put not correct amount of the salt and other ingredients to it.
Now the second menu we tried was our favorite ** short ribs soup**.
It was not soft like it usually, a bit hard. It had medium savory flavour and also had carrots and too much fried red shallot on the top. We concluded that it was not as delicious as it usually.. A bit sad of it.
The last menu we tried was tofu & meatballs.
It was also not delicious. The rice vermicelli it had was not well cooked, it was too hard. The meatballs had savory flavour and also the tofu. The meat that attached on the tofu had too much flour on it so it tasted chewy soft flour with no meat flavour :(. Yuck this menu was a nay!
For the three dishes we ordered also two portions of white rice and a glass hot tea we paid 174,405 IDR or around 12 USD. How do you think about the price?
Sadly, i don't recommend any menus we had that day!
