Today i would like to share one of our foodie experience, this time in a famous local brand for this kind of sweet thing. Sweet that i mean here is something that popular to have on chinese new year because we went to the food stall on chinese new year day.. could you guess what i mean?

Maybe a bit clues for you,
It tasted sweet
And it had many layers..

I know you already known what i mean,
Yes it was layer cake. And one local brand that well known for this cake was the one we went on chinese new year..

The Food Stall

Here was the stall where we bought the layer cake... They had some savory puffs new menu.

But their speciality was on another side.

Here you could see many kind of layer cakes.. but we wouldn't buy the large ones cause none will finish it, we would buy only a slice of them.. like maybe you already known, mom is diabetic, she needs to be picky on having food especially sweet food.

For the layer cakes that sold in slices, they only had chocolate layer cake and another was surabaya layer cake.

The Menu

The menu that this stall offered were layer cakes with many variants like original, cheese, almond, chocolate, greentea, fruit and others. They had some surabaya layer cakes too there.

The Price

We ordered and paid in the cashier, it was 21K IDR or almost 1.5 USD for a slice of the chocolate layer cake.

The Taste & The Flavour

Like the name it had layers, it had non greasy flavour but soft. It had sweet and chocolate flavour. Tasty in sweet!
