Hello, friends especially foodies!
Last Saturday, mom and I went to the Northern part of our city, because we would visit my aunt which was just hospitalized before. On the same neighborhood, there was a legendary over decades noodle stall on the street. Let’s find out how it looked..
When we reached there at 11 am something, there were some customers there before us. The place was modest and located really on the street.
As you could see, even this place was modest, many customers were there.
This place only had noodle menu, it had noodle, wide noodle, vermicelli noodle and flat noodle. You could also choose the topping with dumplings or meatballs. They also had other toppings like kekian, fishball, kok tofu or mixed three of them. While for the drink they only had tea or mineral water.
Beside it, they also sold some cakes and side dishes, like cucur cake, fried balls and others. They also had variants of mostly fish chips there. You could choose by yourselves.
The sunny day and modest place didn’t make the customers there gave up and found other places to eat, this stall was quite popular there. The dining area there was too modest, no air conditioner and also no fan, you could feel just the wind breeze (with the dust from the street, straightly, lol).
Our food came not a long time after we had ordered it.
Looked so yummy the different between ours were just the meatballs.
The taste of their noodle was tasty and cooked with pork oil. It had curly soft texture with savory sweet flavour and it also served with sweet savory chicken meat, plus it also served with some veggies such as beansprouts and green lettuce. Here you could taste one of our best hawker’s food, chicken noodle, and this one in bangkanese style (a small island in our country).
The meatballs had soft chewy texture with savory flavour, hmmh yum!
While I was eating mine, mom also ordered a cucur cake…
It had sweet a bit savory flavour with soft texture. It was so tasty that she really loved it.
The price for the food there weren’t expensive, I paid a total of 55K IDR for our lunch plus two glasses of mineral water, so it was just around 3,7 USD.
So when will you try this legendary street noodle?
