Hello, friends especially foodies!
Yesterday i needed to buy a new flip flop cause the strap for my old one was broken so mom and i decided to go to a small shopping center which was not crowded and had a supermarket inside. In the same mall, there was an Indonesian food restaurant which we hadn't ever tried before so we had decided to have lunch there before we entered the supermarket.

Here how the restaurant looked like

They hanged some of their menus on their glass wall.

We enter then took our seats. The dining area was cozy with wood interior. They also hanged some wayang near their cashier table.

The waitress greeted us nicely and gave us their menu.

Here they sold many Indonesian dishes, great thing was beside the white rice they also sold the red rice with the same price as the white one. And look that they had varieties of Indonesian dishes.

After ordered we waited for around 15-20 minutes to get our lunch delivered. And here was the lunch

We ordered white rice for mom, red rice for me, flying fried giang gourami fish, genjer (yellow velvetleaf) stirred with oncom (fermented soybeans) and smashed tempe.

Now, let's talk about the taste.

FLYING FRIED GOURAMI FISH

It was one of the best with crunchy texture outside and soft fresh fish inside. It had savory tasty flavour and served with sweet spicy sour soy sauce sambal. So tasty, mom who usually doesn't like fish really enjoyed and loved this fried fish.

One of Indonesian authentic, fried tempeh smashed in spicy sambal but we asked them to separate the sambal. The tempeh had light savory flavour and it served with spicy Indonesian sambal.

The price for our lunch plus iced tea was 166,320 IDR or around 11.56 USD included tax and service charge.
