Hello, friends especially foodies!
A bit better with my nausea during pregnancy, after both my husband and i finished our work shift on Saturday, we went to ITC mangga dua. It is a shopping center which was located in North Jakarta. There before i did the shopping, we had had our lunch first.
The food court is located on the top of the shopping center, right on the 5th floor. It had large area with large word, Food Mezannine above.
When we arrived there, it was almost 1 pm. No wonder, many customers were there, even they had come there before us. There you could choose many menu because there were a lot of food stalls. You could see that there were fish shewmay stall, tea stall, meatball and chicken noodle stall, soto and fried chicken stall, semarang chicken rice stall, etc.
One that made me interested was this stall. Named, Tian Wang. It sold pork dishes.
Oh, beside pork dishes they also sold other chinese dishes too. Here they were
They had variants of fried rice, from chasiu (BBQ pork) until special one. They had rice package with some dish choices like chicken kungpao, butter fried chicken, sour sweet chicken, sweet sour pork, hong pork, chicken/seafood capcay, fuyunghai, mapo tofu, mun tofu, green chili beef, and beef blackpepper. They also sold vegetable menu like stirred kailan beef/pork/garlic, stirred brocolli beef/pork, stirred pakcoy pork/beef, szechuan greenbean, and salted fish beansprout. The tofu menu they had were mun tofu, sapo tofu, celery tofu, and chili salt crispy tofu. And they also still had some noodle menu. For the beverage not many that they sold, only kind of tea, orange iced, mineral water or softdrink. Anyway from the picture below the menu they also sold menu that didn’t list like bakkuteh, honey paikut (pork rib), pork rib with sour veggie, chili salt pork rib, cukiok (pork feet), pork balls, babicin (soy sauce pork), fried meatball, mixed rice and sapo tendon.
Here was were they prepared the pork ready menu like mixed rice.
And behind was where they cooked the menu.
Here was the second stall where i ordered our next menu. The beef oxtail soup stall.
Beside their main menu, beef oxtail soup, they also sold rawon (black beef soup and kind of tempong rice. The beverage they also not many, just liang tea, songkit iced, orange iced, passion fruit iced, tea, and mineral water.
Last stall where we bought our food was this one named Bamboe Hijau (green bamboo).
There you could find pempek, mixed meatballs, otak-otak, tekwan, gohiong, and shewmay. And there, they also didn’t have many beverages.
After ordered and then waiting while the stalls prepared the menu, finally we could get the menu we ordered. Here they were all
The mixed rice
It had kind of pork like chasiew (bbq pork), crispy fried pork, soy sauce pork, gohiong, egg, and pork satay. Nothing special with all of the pork they served. Chasiew had sweet dominant flavor, fried pork had savory flavor, soy sauce pork had sweet flavour, gohiong savory and pork satay tasted sweet.
The oxtail soup
It contained beef oxtail, carrot, potato, tomato and of course beef broth soup. It had savory flavor with deep beef broth flavor. The oxtail meat were soft. It served with lime and chili paste. To complete it, i also ordered a pack of belinjo chips which i loved.
Otak - otak
Otak-otak made of fish then cooked with other ingredients, wrapped with banana leaf and last, roasted. My husband opened the banana leaf for me, i then could enjoyed it with the peanut sauce. It had sweet savory flavor and the peanut sauce had savory and a bit spicy flavor.
Nothing too special with their food and the price were not cheap too but the food court itself was good and neat.
