For the past five days, we have been enjoying a heatwave of over 30C. Today, the temperature was ten degrees cooler! It felt nice and fresh walking about with a nice breeze.
We enjoyed a cup of tea at the refreshments cabin, which has tables and chairs available outside.
The flowers are magnificent in the beds, but the meadows look great, too.
The lake was looking tranquil and cool, with the geese and swans just paddling along as if they had all the time in the world!
As you can see by the photos, the sun had not appeared yet, and in fact, it had been raining earlier this morning. Sunshine did come middle afternoon, which helped to make it feel very nice indeed!
