✍️Hello and greetings to everyone in this Sketchbook community!✍️
✍️This time I return to share with you the step by step of a work whose development has been quite slow.✍️
✍️This slowness was due not only to the nature of the work, but also to external factors that are part of everyday life. But I'm not going to talk about those issues.✍️
✍️The work in question is a commission from the local museum, in which the main theme is a visual compendium of some of the main places and elements that identify the San Luis territory.✍️
✍️To create this painting, I used the following materials:✍️
✍️Canvas.
Diluent.
Oil colors.
Brushes of various sizes.
Tow. ✍️
✍️As I always do when painting, I have roughly drawn the main elements of the work with the classic domino composition of the triangle, with a base that goes from the monument to the mothers in the lower right edge of the plane, the church in the upper part and the bust of Antonio Maceo in the left side🤣, and tobacco planted below in the lower corner. ✍️
✍️I almost always do the general inking of the painting, but on this occasion I did it randomly, going from one element to the other as the set required and trying to reproduce the quality of the materials from which the main elements are made. In this type of works, which are almost schematic, the interest is to make a memory or testimony painting from a style that is as realistic as possible, since it is intended to be part of the museum collection, but with a didactic function to talk about the most important places.✍️
✍️I also worked with several layers where the elements required it to achieve the effects I wanted.✍️
✍️The result is a pragmatic work and testimony of places and identity elements of the municipality.✍️

Esta vez regreso para compartirles el paso a paso de una obra cuyo desarrollo ha sido bastante lento.
Esta lentitud se debió no solo al carácter del trabajo, sino también a factores externos que son parte de la cotidianidad. Pero de esas cuestiones no voy a hablar.
La obra en cuestión es un encargo del museo de la localidad, en el que la temática principal es un compendio visual de algunos de los lugares y elementos principales que identifican al territorio sanluiseño.
Para la elaboración de este cuadro, utilicé los siguientes materiales:
Lienzo.
Diluyente.
Colores al óleo.
Pinceles de tamaños variados.
Estopa.
Como siempre hago para pintar, he dibujado a grosso modo los elementos principales de la obra con la clásica composición en dominó del triángulo, con base que va desde el monumento a las madres en el borde inferior derecho del plano, la iglesia en la parte superior y el busto de Antonio Maceo en el lateral izquierdo, y tabaco sembrado debajo en el ángulo inferior.
Casi siempre hago el entintado general del cuadro, pero en esta ocasión lo fui haciendo de forma aleatoria, yendo de un elemento al otro según iba pidiendo el conjunto y tratando de reproducir la calidad de los materiales de los que están hechos los principales elementos. En este tipo de obras, que son casi esquemáticas, el interés es hacer un cuadro memoria o testimonio desde un estilo lo más realista posible, pues se pretende formar parte de la colección del museo, pero con una función didáctica para hablar de los lugares más importantes.
También trabajé con varias capas allí donde los elementos lo requerían para lograr los efectos que quería.
El resultado es una obra pragmática y de testimonio de lugares y elementos identitarios del municipio.
