Ever since I was a child, I have been a keen reader. Already at a very early age I read things that were not common to the world of children's innocence, where the priority is the more traditional storybooks, through which educational programs are introduced and the imagination of children is played with, and they accept the world that is described to them through this type of literature.

I remember that when I was ten or eleven years old, I got my hands on - of course I will not say that I took it from a bookcase in the classroom - a not very big book, which had the title The Conquerors of Fire, I do not remember, nor do I know who the author is, which was about how a small group of men from a primitive community went in search of fire and the adventures to bring it to their clan, well I later understood that they did not conquer it but they stole it from that tribe that already knew it and knew how to keep it as a source of energy.

After that came many more titles of different genres and subjects, except mathematics, with which I never had a very good relationship. I lived under the slogan that "knowledge does not take up space" and other theories. The truth is that a closed book made me anxious to know its contents, and so perhaps I became a man with a certain level of information.

But... one day I called a friend and asked him to come with a sack so that after selecting a handful of books, and not just any book, because the rest, except for some that I still kept with me for some reason or other, would be thrown away the next day in a dump near my house, my personal bookcase was almost empty, and why? Simply, because in a process of spiritual and even psychic emptying, I understood that "knowledge or knowledge without utility" was lacking (that is, that it created a lack of something for me).

I know it sounds like a strange conception in a world where knowing, knowing, and knowing is the gold of most people's lives, patented in credits and recognitions that legitimize the level reached in the different areas of knowledge, which also establishes well-defined social levels. I began to get rid of all that I carry in my heavy backpack of life. Those voids were filled with other lighter realities. And I embarked on the path of self-knowledge and its slight possibilities in all areas of life, especially those related to authorization in a parallel path and many times in the opposite direction to the paradigm of science in its latest versions.

So, one day, reading an interesting text of Dipra Chopra, a neuro-scientist doctor from India and who is a promoter and curator of traditional Ayurveda medicine and within all the knowledge that he gives us (the book), I found a simple exercise to improve the quality of eye vision based on the hypothesis that all disease is an energy blockage caused by an idea or a thought established as a pattern in the subconscious or something more or less like that. Or product of inadequate diets or poor quality of life. In other words, behavior. And sight is also a victim of some of these factors or the combination of several.

Here for Ayurveda classifies any disease of the body, proposing as an almost miraculous solution, spontaneous remission, which is nothing more than the body's ability to solve its own problems without relying on the outside; something really very easy to say and very difficult to understand, especially for the pragmatic West on the subject. I am a painter and therefore my sight has been the main working instrument in all these years working in dissimilar conditions. Suffice it to say that I spent eleven years painting and drawing by the light of Chinese lamps. I was eleven years painting and drawing by the light of Chinese lanterns and kerosene lamps and even candles, so you can imagine the visual wear and tear that very early on would lead me to depend for a long time on the support of glasses for all kinds of activities, including watching television when the movies were subtitled.

The deterioration was progressive and the biggest trauma was that the glasses were constantly breaking on one side or the other, and almost a total dependence on that artifact that I am very grateful for the services it provided me, but that the last ones right now I do not remember where they are. You will see some photos of that stage.

But I also had to understand that this philosophy of healing and ascentral authorization is not only based on techniques and exercises, but that in addition to a deep knowledge of the body and nature, it has as a spur the ethical question. In other words, healing and authorization is a commitment of the mind with the body, almost a pact, an awareness of the real potentialities of the body that must be activated for miracles to appear.

Authorization is the result of energetic unblockings. But it is ethics that controls the process. I could narrate a few personal experiences of authorization, but I leave them unsaid, so as not to fall into egocentrism. I know that the teque, teque, is also left over and that you are waiting for the exercise or the technique, and you will be surprised of its sensibility, here we go.

Find the time in the morning, when the sun is not yet very hot, and in the afternoon, when it has not yet cooled, always stand facing the sun and close your eyes without pressure, and looking through the eyelids count thirty seconds while breathing slowly. After that time, that's it! Now make it a habit, but better before you start, take a measurement and check the current state of your eyesight, and write down the graduation of your glasses. And after a prudent time check your progress.

But don't hang on and keep leaning on those devices until you feel you are no longer dependent on them. Now comes an ethical question; set a prudent date and say in these terms with certainty and emotion: by the day_ of the month _ of the year_ (locate the exact dates) I am able to read such and such a text or perform any other task _ without depending on using the glasses. You already have the technique, a commitment and a result, but remember that authorization is an Ethical phenomenon and the commitment is to oneself.
