It seems like things started to go back to their normal pace. However, some damage has been done, whether we like it or not. Here's a glimpse of what the day is.
Private parking space at the opposite is not opened for all. Despite that, nobody is drivig in, other than a few employee. This is my favorite Starbucks which I have previously blogged about several times.
I purposely went and grab this special drink that only available during the fasting month for Muslims. Cream of pandan, with corn and coconut caremel. I'm telling you, this thing will drive you nuts!
The window seat that I enjoyed most, when the day came to tea time, I usualy shift my "office" to this place, had one of the curtain down so the back light will nut glare infront of me, I can have my laptop there. With lightly warm from the glass, and cooling airconditioning at my back, this is the best place for a hide out when I need to complete my office work. I'll come back for the seat again when the event is pass.
A bank outlet which specialized in loan and mortgage, a fruit juice shop, a carpet showroom, a cake shop, and the anchor tenant hypermarket in this building, non of them survive. You wouldn't think how bad the impact could be, but everything seems so unreal.
That's about all I have to report for my "exploration" when I'm allowed to go to town to resume my work. It's not official yet, I'm still required to stay home to avoid putting my own family at risk. Thanks to LazyMom which is very hardworking, cooked ma a very nice cheese omelet for breakfast.
Bacon fried rice is just nice. I dont' know whether have you try this, if you haven't, you should. The saltiness of the bacon is just nice when it was absorbed by the rice.
Well, unfortunately we're running low on supply, but again there's nothing we cant win with LazyMom around. Spaghetti with bolognese sauce, heard she said coupled with carrot and tomatoe sliced with pork bits, tasted marvelously good. The toast bread with garlic butter was a little too hard though, but generally super satisfying.
Tomorrow is a shopping day! I will see if there's anything interesting to show you around.
