This is not a regular rant post. I'm just feeling puzzled. I'm one of the most tech savvy person amongst my siblings(since I'm the youngest child in my dad's family household), now I found myself know very little about technologies in the current world.
Seriously, how many of you still read a physical newspaper nowadays? Physical as in paper form, news paper. When my colleague asked me to avoid wasting natural resources, I found myself nagging her about reading a paper newspaper is the real news paper because the news printed on the paper. She said, that was what happened yesterday, and the day before, and you're holding a piece of tree that potentially producing oxygen for your children. Frankly, I've lost words and am awfully embarrassed as I sounded like my dad's dad.
Finally, our hi-tea is served. I looked at the square donuts and said to my friend about donuts that should be round shaped. She said, dood, they don't make that donut here. It's from the central kitchen. Do you seriously think transporting a round shaped donut easier or square shaped better? But but... No but. Go Dunkin Donuts if you want to.
Later, we walked back to the office and chat about how things changed over the years, and since I'm resigning, all these will be my memory. She said, I am already living in the history when I started talking about how things changed 🤣
As much as I hate to admit, I am really living in the past. Especially when I failed to realize my stubbornness, talking about what, why, when, who and how things SHOULD be. Below 4 photos weren't meant to share with you since they're meaningless. But decided to still post it, please take a closer look and we shall have a small discussion at the final paragraph of this post.
Junior asked me to take a photo of the vast clear sky. I took out my new phone and started snapping. The new phone failed miserably, so I changed to night mode and tried it again. Still, it doesn't capture enough lights from the stars due to the poor aperture settings. Immediately, I took out the old phone and does the same thing, capturing both with and without night mode. In my mind, I am already biased the older phone does better. Now that I looked at it, they both done equally poor 🤣🤣🤣 I should really stop complaining about the poor performance of the new phone and start getting use to it.
