Often I heard people commenting others as you are what you eat. Reason behind this is due to the calories intake and glycemic index food we took in. I'm a regular workout person, despite I don't go to gym, but I do a lot of bodyweight exercises. Partly, I'm being cheap(do not wanna subscribe to gym membership anymore after I've wasted 3 years of subscription and ended up not even utilized once), on the other hand I really enjoyed walk in the park rather than on a treadmill. Usually, over the weekend before sun comes up I'll be at the park walking/slow jog.

So, how far do I run/walk? Usually about 8~10km in the morning, another 8~10km in the evening.

Yes. That is per session. And usually how much calories it burn after 1 whole day of walking/running, about 25k steps.

Exactly. And how is 1300kcal compare to this?

This is Roti Hawaii from Murni Discovery. 1 of my all time favorite. They put chicken meat paty, marinated pineapples cubes, and scramble eggs. Wrap it with a layer of pastry skin. Taste is marvelous! This little thing, roughly worth 500 kcal (excluding those mayonnaise / sweeten tomato sauce). When added with a teh tarik, that's about 200kcal. So, there goes 700kcal for 1 meal. What if 3? That'd be 2100kcal already.

Not to mention sometimes we go Chinese restaurant whack wantan noodle, quite impossible to justify how much calories are there as portion are inconsistent. Too much simple carb. Noodle itself is processed food, added with BBQ Pork marinated in sweet sauce few slices. So, how is it possible to lose weight if I'm keep eating this kind of stuff? Workout more? Seriously, how much workout is enough? At times, I felt weak if I had too much RICE. The ultimate trick is always control what you put in to your mouth, easier than how much can you burn them off.

So, here's the regular weekend breakfast.

I don't mind the queue. For RM8 (about U$2) a breakfast with coffee, with enough salad, a slice of bacon and a poached egg. Sometimes if I feels like I need more energy, I'll take the bread, other times I'll be asking for a wrap. With bread, I take about 300kcal, with wrap is about 200. Added with the sugarless black coffee, definitely less than 100kcal, maximum less than 500kcal for a meal.

I'm not asking you to count calories on everything you eat. But if you do, and once you got used to eat (it), you'll automatically avoid heavy stuff and able to control your bodyweight easily. Trust me, all these photos are mine. I'm still whacking crazy stuff sometimes. We live to eat(or the other way round), might as well satisfy our appetite when we have the urge. So if I choose to eat more and fill my stomach, I can choose lower calories food, lower glycemic index food so it doesn't trigger my blood sugar level. And ofcourse, there will be sugar rush time, I even went SS2 for Durian XO Buffet for RM50, in 1 hour me and a friend whacked 9 XO fruit. Merely sharing my regular weekends standard breakfast choice with everyone.
