A quick throw back to 2nd week so June in 2026 when we are peparing for father's day celebration, things took a sharp turn as the management is chasing for the first half figure, where majority of us couldn't meet the plan.

Here's one father to another father talk. We all have our own family to take care of, he's not in the situation of any better than me despite he's my superior. I respect that he brought me in to this workplace, but the work demand is really harsh and I am thinking it's about time to find another way out, perhaps this time without him.
We called for her another father for a quick celebration. So, 3 fathers, 1 table. First came to the table is steamed pork belly with taro. The pork belly has been steamed for hours as a result the meat and later of fat being soer tender, as if it will melt. I'm having trouble trying to pick it up with my chopsticks.
Fried tofu with minced meat is yet another crazy dish we ordered. The tofu is a recombined tofu mixed with egg, and then fried to produce a hard skin. Once that done, it is laced with soy sauced. The minced pork is fried with cured raddish and garlic, extremely flavorful.
And then a fried egg with sharkfin. I'm not exactly a fan of sharkfin, but then the client is here for a celebration, so I am not going to become a tree hugger and give environmental speech. Technically, sharkfin has absolutely no nutrition left(if not little) after the fish bone being heavily processed. Asian fellas likes to called it "tame the beast" food, as if we eat the shark to show that we have cojones 🤣
We also ordered a stir fried mixed vegetable, consist of eggplant, long beans, ladies fingers, and stink bean(known as twisted cluster bean). With this in the system, it's a guaranteed the rest of the day 3 of us is gonna emit foul smell, especially in the washrooms 🤣
Food is great. The boss once again told a stories from many years ago, and is now sounded like a broken recorder, keeps on repeating. We waved goodbye and proceed to our own journey for the rest of the day, and prepared for the big day over the weekend.
The father's day gift that I bought for myself. A bottle of pemium coating I got it from shoppee at a discounted price.
To my surprise, despite the discounted price, it also came with the wiping clothe. I already got myself a piece of wiping clothe from Mr.DIY, so I'm gonna keep the complement one and use mine.
I have sent the car to the car wash for a quick one before I proceed to go home and spray it down with the coating and gently wipe them off the surface.
Well, sometimes happiness came just like that, a simple evening of a father being alone with his car, wiping down a later of coating, seeing the baldy guy in the reflection and think, I've done a good job.
